"We were in for. BMT graduation at the base. Rooms seem to be ok. Staff seem to be ok too. We were only here one night. Got in late and left early. We did order from a local pizza place and we HIGHLY discourage anyone from supporting it. Terrible service and food. We did not get what we paid for. The flyer will probably be under your door. They definitely are a rip off the reviews say it just look at them. It is like Big John’s pizza I think it is . Other than that we would recommend. Very close to the base."

"I picked The Hampton for a couple reason's, convient to resturants, pricing was fair, seemed a bit farther from Lackland AFB, than described online. Clean common areas, nice Free breakfast selection. Employees friendly and helpful, they made us feel welcomed! Some things could be improved on. Dust bunny's hanging from bumpouts where high windows are in the dinning room above the tables, those windows need cleaning also. Low toilets in the rooms, with cheap plastic toilet seats. Had to ask for a hairdryer, that was supposed to be in the bathroom. Blinking wall lamp bedside, barking fridge, one bed was lopsided, husband kept rolling to the edge. Other than those things mentioned it was a pleasant stay."

"Worse place to stay. Be careful. My husband truck got broke into last night. They stole everything he got inside. If you have the option to go somewhere else, you should!! Don't recommend it. It's not the first time that it has happened at this place! !!!!"

"My recent stay at the Hampton Inn in San Antonio was prompted by the unfortunate passing of my father-in-law. As lifetime Diamond members with Hilton, we chose this property due to its proximity to our family's house. On the positive side, the hotel provided a sense of security, with a single entry and exit point to the parking lot, complemented by a sheriff on duty during the night. While the room had its merits, there were some peculiar aspects that left us a bit uneasy. The bathroom lacked a traditional door, featuring a sliding barn door with noticeable gaps, compromising privacy. The shower head's awkward positioning and low water pressure further added to the discomfort, leading me to avoid showering when possible. As someone working remotely during the stay, the desk setup wasn't the most ergonomic, and the chair proved to be uncomfortable for extended periods. An unexpected intrusion during a conference call raised concerns, even though the "do not disturb" sign was in place. The hotel's lobby was aesthetically pleasing, adorned with charming Christmas decorations, and the staff were generally friendly. However, the breakfast experience was less than ideal, with a lack of allergen and dietary labels. Seeking vegan options proved challenging, and the staff seemed unprepared to address specific dietary needs. Given the diverse range of dietary preferences today, I expected more from a Hilton property. Check-out was a bit confusing, as I had hoped for flexibility due to shifting funeral plans. Despite our intention to settle the bill for the night, there was some confusion, making the process less smooth than expected. Lastly, the quality of sleep was compromised by disturbances throughout the night—loud noises, partying guests, and flashing lights in the parking lot. The overall experience left us feeling uncomfortable and, unfortunately, may influence our decision to choose Hampton Inn in the future."

"The front desk personal were so very helpful the entire time we were there. Didn't matter if it was middle of the day or middle of the night, they were cordial and able to answer any question or help with anything that was needed. The cleaning staff kept the place clean and well stocked. The breakfast was always hot and ready with plenty to choose from to eat and drink. They have eggs and cereal to danishes and bagels; water and different types of juices to hot coco, coffee, and your choice of teas. The location is easy access to a multitude of restaurants and stores. It was a great experience that I wouldn't mind repeating."
