"Great place to stay and a great location. The main strip for shopping and food is within walking distance. We had our own personal firepit that was perfect with the colder weather. There was a bar that played music loud enough to not drown out conversation but loud enough to enjoy our time around the fire and being outdoors. The river and park are less than 100 yds away. There were so many deer that just strolled up the street after the sun went down that made the whole evening great. It is one of the best overnight stays we have had in a long time. We will be booking a future stay for a little longer duration."

"Perfect spot to stay in Bandera. Cute property, clean, and plenty of parking. Walking distance to everything. They even mailed me back my coat I left in the closet. Will be staying here again!"

"Took a trip up to Bandera, The Vaquero Motel was our choice of place to stay. Wife and I enjoy the views and the deer and ducks roaming the streets. Horse back riding at Ranchero Cortez, Shirley was really polite and got us squared away for our ride. Great times .."
