"I first stayed here as a young child in the mid to late 1970s and our family went back every summer for years. It was surprising when I saw that it still existed as a guest ranch and exciting to see that it hasn’t changed very much. Just like “in the old days” they still offer horse back riding, hay rides, camp fires with s’mores, a swimming pool (much to cold for THIS trip but it was fun to see the pool just like I remember it). As a kid we stayed in the cabins. They are rustic and they are all still there. They’ve added a few new ones and also opened up RV spots with water, electric, and sewer. But even with all this “progress” it still holds all the charm of life of a ranch. Walk down to the Medina river, attend a rodeo, or mosey into town for a restaurant meal or some shopping."
"I had a group of hunters there November 17-19. Brenda was awesome and made sure we all a good time and she made it easy for us to navigate checking in and out. The rooms are rustic but very nice and it’s cool to stay where men use to stay to protect our country. Lots of things to do on the ranch will keep you entertained."
"We had our family reunion here and EVERYONE loved it. It’s very quaint and a little old but the history is very interesting. Love the staff, they went above and beyond. All our needs we met and surpassed. Just wished it was a little cooler but beyond anyone’s control. We hope to go back at a later time. Thank you Twin Elms!"
"I visited Twin Elms in the 1960s for events and enjoyed their excellent reputation again. We stayed with family both in the rooms and at the RV park for 5 days. Plenty of room between RV spaces and well kept. Beautiful views and a great RV clubhouse for gathering together for meals. They are in the process of updating the decor in the rooms and they look great! Access to the Medina river was on property with spots to hang out in the shade, fish and enjoy the cool water. Wranglers on the trail ride were great and lots of fun. And of course Brenda managed it all, answered our questions and accommodated requests with a great big smile! We will be back."
"We were at the Ranch with our son's Highschool AIR FORCE JROTC group this past weekend. The area was well kept the staff was great, Jennifer was very helpful, pleasant and friendly. The weather was nice especially since we didn't get any rain. The kids enjoyed themselves. Next time we go back, we're going to definitely go horseback riding and tubing. Thank you all at Twin Elm Ranch."
