"I believe it's was 7 miles from Big Bend National Park west entrance. Right next to the ghost town. We had no cell service there because of the hills next to us. Smallish rv park"
"actually no star rating. prepaid. arrived to an ABSOLUTE HELL HOLE. no one around to give us site information anyway. more like a junk yard. we have been fulltimers for 7 years. this is the worst ever. did NOT hang around. off to Maverick RV in Lajitas!"
"It's a nice little park with great people staying in and around it bathrooms were really clean and took care of by spoons probably the nicest man you'll ever come across when I head back to terlingua I will definitely be staying here agin and let's face it the downsides to the place don't matter because your camping in the desert phone signal really isn't there and I never tried the wifi but I'm sure it's slow as well but your camping so what's it matter get outside go walk around hell have a cup of coffee with spoons and get your say started right."
"Website gives accurate description. Not frills spot to park your camper or tent will you explore big bend. Nothing fancy, but the power is stable, hook-ups work and are clean and there's wifi good enough to get messages and do research to help you plan your day. Wifi won't stream Netflix....but that's not why you come to Terlingua. Location is great, host is helpful. The big bonus is there's a giant dirt mountain and field for the kids run and play in."
"This place is the cheapest in town for a reason and yet still highly overpriced! It is a very quiet spot and great star gazing, however your rv is parked right next to a junk yard with broken down rusting cars. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy. Iโm not expecting resort type quality, but these bathrooms were seriously neglected. Hair everywhere around the sink and toilet and piles of dirt built up in the corners on the floor. Our electricity cut out in the middle of the night on our first night. We moved spots the second night and had no issues. There is no host on site, the only information you will get is an email with instructions to essentially park wherever. WiFi works half the time, we had no service otherwise. All of these things I mentioned I can live with, especially for a brief stay, but not for $42 a night!! Wildly overpriced in my opinion."
