"They took good care of Possum... gave him pain meds and antibiotics for his ear infection... he is much better all the crying and pain is gone... Clark County Vets are the best for my little friend... will be using them from now on..."
"Went to this vet from the time both my pups were getting their first shots and they were great to work with until my oldest (3 years old) got sick. After 5 visits and a lot of money spent, medicines tried, and no new developments I was told that my dogs weight loss from almost 60 lb to 42 lbs was ok and average. Furthermore, I was told they had no clue what was wrong with him or what his symptoms really were. After the FIRST appointment with a different and more professional clinic not only did I receive thoughtful and urgent care for my dog, I also got a list of possible diagnoses, tests to run to target for said diagnoses, and an appointment the NEXT day to try and get this handled. This new vet was very worried for his weight and health and thought it was upsetting to see it passed off as average. If I never switched vets my dog could have had a very premature death."
"We have taken our two dogs here for about a year and a half to two years. The vet care has been great, but the communication on pricing is completely out of line with what the end bill is and no one has any explanations outside of my wife and I being told that the receipts are confusing to read... We boarded our dogs while we were on vacation for a week. During this time, one of our dogs was due for updated shots. When I called to setup the boarding/vet visit I had requested an estimate for all of the services we would be needing during our time away, I was provided that estimate and felt great about the price. When I came to pickup both of our dogs at the end of our trip the price had increased over $125 from that initial estimate and no one could provide me with an answer as to why this had happened. I left extremely dissatisfied with the boarding and vet care received. We've also had our dogs groomed here on a few occasions... On previous visits we could get two medium sized dogs groomed for around $120, that included nail trimming, haircut, etc. The dogs have always looked great. Today we dropped off one dog to be groomed and when we picked them up the bill was $90 when originally we could get one dog groomed for $50-60 range. We feel like we've been absolutely price gouged and no one is able to provide any explanations on any of the increases across the board. We will be going back to Almost Home Pet Boarding, Boonesboro Animal Clinic, along with finding an alternative to grooming. Completely dissatisfied with our experience at Clark County Vet Clinic!"
"1 year anniversary of losing my precious fur baby, do to neglect from being boarded, while I miss him every day and love him dearly I will never forget the horrible experience and neglect he encountered from being boarded. I regret everyday that I put my trust into so called professionals… Very Sad shame to say the least… My story Posted 1 year ago Boarded my 2 puppies here for 7 days my paralyzed poodle died 5 days later from an abscess onset from an open wound injury he got while being placed on hard surfaces without padding while being improperly cared for and purposely neglected at the boarding facility inside the vet. Would not recommend this place to anyone for boarding animals they are out for money not caring about the health and safety of animals. Sad to say I paid near $500 for the boarding fee was never offered a refund and pet wasn’t treated for his injuries had to take him to another vet to get antibiotic treatment but it was too late infection had already spread not what you’d expect from a boarding facility located inside a vet… Pepper my Poodle is gone but will never be forgotten."
