"We visited the Elizabethtown branch today and had the misfortune of dealing with one the rudest employees ever who was working at the handicap window. Her lackadaisical attitude made me ask to speak with the branch manager. Of course, the manager was out of the office until Monday and she said no one else at the branch could assist us. I told her I was sure she could call another branch for assistance, so she picked up the phone and made a brief call then responded, "Like I said before." with a condescending tone. We exited the branch with my mother very upset but I reminded her once her last CD matures then she can cash out and never, ever deal with them again because these folks treat you like dirt when they know you're leaving them."

"ZERO stars should be a option DO Do not use this bank for a home loan! Family of 6 and 4 dogs came all the way from Arizona didn’t close on time. Dealt with a guy named Tim who made mistake after mistake! Costing me and my family money. Had to find a place to stay until close of our home. Now 3-4 months later after we talked to german American bank not once or twice but 3 times trying to pay a mortgage payment and said i had no account with them. They told me was sold to ameria bank. I make my payments. Now they are telling me i owe a mortgage payment from 3 months ago even though i was told 3 times NO payment to be made! I wish that zero stars was an option. Highly don’t recommend this company unless you like a headache or want to lose money!"

"Since German American took over Citizens Union Bank , I no longer get my direct deposit placed into my account on Thursday. I have spoken to a representative over the phone and I haven’t spoken to any of the previous representatives I used to speak with at Citizens Union Bank. Apparently Abound, Chime and other banks do allow for the direct deposit to hit on Thursday. CUB was a very very good bank with excellent customer service."
