"Switched from Chase bank last year, US Bank has been amazing for my business and personal needs and the staff always provide top notch customer service treating me like family."
"I've banked at this location since the 90's, and there is big reason for this. I have always and continue to receive outstanding and personalized service here, and know that my business is valued not only by the bank but the employees themselves! I have recommended many of my friends and family to bring their business here, and they have been highly satisfied also! In a time when customer service has taken a backseat to most, U.S. Bank Shelbyville continues to carry the flag in exemplary customer experience! This is a one stop shop for all of your financial needs, and you'll be treated and cared for like family."
"Initially I had a positive opinion of this bank. I use the Shelbyville branch and had previously limited my business exclusively to the ATM. Unfortunately the ATM no longer has a deposit feature so I’m forced to conduct my business with the actual banking staff during business hours. This has proven to be a huge disappointment. In my three most recent visits while attempting to make a deposit through the drive through, I either went completely unacknowledged or had to wait an unjustifiably long time to get the attention of a bank employee. This is unacceptable . On all three occasions the number of patrons in the establishment was one or two. I’m sorry but that does not warrant the lack of attention. It takes literally two seconds to acknowledge a patron with a quick “I’ll be with you shortly” , or even a hand gesture. To be completely ignored by staff is unprofessional, and unacceptable. In a world where virtually everyone is overworked and understaffed kindness and professionalism are being placed on the back burner. Do better US bank. Seriously do better."
"I’ve banked with US Bank for over 20 years, and the customer service has been hit or miss since Covid. All the US Banks in Louisville have normal operating hours and plenty of staff, and yet the Shelbyville Branch closes at 2 everyday. As if that doesn’t make it hard enough on the customer, when you finally get inside the branch during their “operating hours”, you receive little to no assistance, or they tell you they will only assist you if you have an appointment. However, when you call the branch for an appointment, no one answers. I tried calling for two days to get an appointment with the bank, and finally gave up and visited the branch today. I was there to open savings accounts for my children. When I arrived I was told no one could help me open the accounts since I did not have an appointment. I mentioned that no one had been answering the phones to allow me to obtain an appointment, and the employee’s only response was for me to make an appointment for another day or go online and open the accounts myself. I could understand if this branch was filled with customers, however, after ten minutes of telling me how they wouldn’t help me, I was the only customer located inside the bank. Even with a completely empty branch, they still refused to help me open the savings accounts. The nonchalant attitude and lack of customer service by these branch employees is astounding. The one bright spot at this branch is Taryn, however since she wasn’t working today, I guess no one else wanted to help customers. Based on the lack of service today, and the inconvenience and burden that this branch continuously places on its customers, I went ahead and opened bank accounts at another bank today, and will no longer be banking with US Bank."
