"Disclaimer: Owner corrected the issue and gave me a free meal. Thank you! Ordered close to closing time. Bell Peppers and Onions were raw and huge. Didn’t seem like it was cooked at all. Also, the steak looked pink as if it weren’t cooked all the way but hard to tell because of the brown sauce. Tasted it and it was pretty chewy. Could’ve been cooked longer and just with more care. The rice had no veggies. Just fried rice and a little egg. Person over the phone was nice. I was expecting great food but extremely disappointed. Decided to recook the pepper steak myself."
"We've been coming since they first opened. Their menu is weird because they are planning for future items, but that's the only odd thing for me. The food always tastes fresh, I love their meat to vegetable ratio, and the staff is very polite. Only had 1 off time when they forgot 1 or my 2 orders of spring rolls. Called them and they took my name down so I could grab a fresh pack the next day. They ended us giving me an extra pack for free because of the inconvenience. They're very friendly and accommodating."
"I want a refund. Dry chicken and way to batter to make the chicken peice bigger. Mei Fun no color or flavor. Fried rice is tasteless. Overpriced and not worth $40"
"Today I tried Ye's Kitchen on Woodforest Blvd. Houston, Texas. This restaurant was formally known as Spring China Cafe. I went in during lunchtime and was told they didn't serve lunch specials on the weekend. I ordered Chef's Special #CS1. General Tso's Chicken for $12.50 & I also ordered a pork egg roll for $1.50 my total was $15.16. The chicken was very good it was not too spicy and the crust was still kinda crisp on the outside and not dry at all. The sauce was great the meal was served with broccoli. The rice was not that good it was a little over cooked/mushy. I ordered the fried rice and it tasted like plain regular white rice. The pork egg roll was delicious. I enjoyed my meal and will try Ye's Kitchen again they have many options on the menu."
"I really don't like most of the Chinese food places around here in Texas, but this place brings me back home to were am from and it's absolutely amazing and good. The new owners are and the lady at the front are so kind and welcoming. I will be going back again."
