"I have had the worst experience with them . My bariatric doctor sent me here to undergo a Pysch Evaluation for surgery . I went in , answered a 20 page questionnaire and met with doctor Adams . We discussed my mental illness , she didn’t aproove me for surgery , referred me to someone there for counseling. And stated that I would need to have 12 months stable before she would aproove me . This felt like a huge (Money Scam) I also told her during our appointment that I had a current psychiatrist, but she insisted I use one of there’s . She denied me , so I had my actual psychiatrist send a letter of recommendation, stating that I am a good candidate for surgery . I got the run around for almost 2 MONTHS . I called every week , sometimes twice a week because I was very adamant to have this surgery for both my physical health AND mental health as my weight affects my hormones as well . Ultimately, dr Adams still denied me , and suggested I undergo therapy from them because she “thinks” I have bipolar . After speaking to her 1 time she came up with this conclusion. I feel scammed and disappointed, my health was riding in her hands , and it felt like it was more about recruiting me to spend money with them there. I went through an evaluation with my ACTUAL psychiatrist, and she doesn’t think I have Bipolar . I do not recommend this place atall ."
