Reviews
"EKU's state-of-the-art Science Building was constructed in two phases, opening in 2012 and 2017 respectively. The 326,059 square foot facility houses the Department of Agriculture, Department of Applied Engineering and Technology, Department of Biological Sciences, Department of Chemistry, Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Department of Physics, Geosciences, and Astronomy, and the Division of Natural Areas. A 1.6kWh solar array is installed on the roof that feeds directly into the building's energy grid. There is also a stormwater system adjacent to the building that is directly connected to the roof of the structure which helps regulate runoff. If you look you will also find a scale model of the solar system in different locations in and around the building. There are tons of other cool features this building has that make it one of the best places in Kentucky for students to pursue a degree in any STEM related field."
