"I wish Simmons cared as much about its employees and the quality of education it delivers than it does its public image. The college loves press conferences and yet, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing internally. Most classes are taught by underpaid adjuncts and the staff have no accountability. You can do next to nothing and keep a job. If you complain, they'll find ways to deflect legit criticism. People get jobs here because they're affiliated with St. Stephens or they're related to administrators. The people who run the school and the people who serve students directly are 2 different groups of people. Don't believe the image the college portrays to the media - just look at abysmal graduation rate. The much-touted HBCU experience is no substitute for a quality education - something the current leadership doesn't get."
