"The staff was so kind and efficient, from the front desk to the lab. Dr Morgan was very helpful. Thanks for all the hard work up there everyone!"
"Aside from typically running an hour behind schedule and listing non-working phone numbers on MyChart, I genuinely appreciate the kindness of the staff members here. But, this facility has one major problem. The infusion clinic is so small; they pack patients and their support systems in like sardines- it’s a space issue, according to staff, and there’s nothing that can be done. However, in this day and age of prominent infectious disease spread, it’s simply not acceptable. Many other facilities in this region, including Norton, have private infusion rooms. There needs to be a temporary fix made until they can construct or remodel in order to accommodate patients safely."
"On March 3rd I was ordered a CT scan with oral contrast Scheduled April 21st On April 14th mychart texted me all was ok and to approved and my responsibility was 737. Today I was told their office didn't even request precert til Monday the 18th and I needed to cancel because not yet approved ! Six weeks it was scheduled so I'm canceling them and moving onto Nortons"
"I have been seeing this practice for 25 years, now. I absolutely love everyone here. I am practically treated like family. Dr Michael Kommor has seen to it that I stay alive, and I am so grateful! The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable, gifted, and so compassionate."
"I was referred here by my OB after having some genetic testing done that said I had a blood disorder. I had never had issues previously but my OB wanted me to get lab work to be sure. #1. I got a call asking me to provide my info before my appointment "tomorrow" - to my surprise I had never scheduled an appointment and had never been aware of any appointment. I was in Florida on vacation that had been planned for months. I kindly explained the appointment was never made by me and I was out of the state. They rescheduled. #2. I was called the day before my rescheduled appointment and asked if I would mind coming 2 days later instead because of the snow and the need of cancer patients to be seen ahead of me. I kindly made adjustments and made it work even though it was an in inconvenience to me. #3. I show up to the address that was printed on ALL of my mailed documents for me to fill out. I get to the address, follow the directions on my sheets and there is no suite 310. Apparently I'm at the wrong location. I was never informed there were any other locations and the only address that was printed on every single one of my materials said the address I was at. #4. I wasn't told to go to scheduling to "see if they could see me but probably not" which was fine, I was willing to come another day due to the error. I walked in scheduling and apologized and explained why I was at this location, showed my papers and she went to call the location I was supposed to be at, came back and said "because you've missed so many appointments, as a new patient we aren't supposed to reschedule you. We have an appointment Monday but you HAVE to show up to this appointment." --- I was in slight shock st the fact that I was being accused of blatantly no-showing for appointments when every single one was not my fault. Working in health care and patient services I was shocked, especially when I was kind enough to give up my previous appointment at their requests, had to flip around my child care and my work schedule to make this rescheduled appointment happen. I explained that the previous appointments were not purposefully missed and she continued to say "well when you don't show up for those appointments, that means our cancer patients can't be seen because it takes a spot" --- as if making me feel even more guilty for something that clearly wasn't my fault, was somehow going to make the situation better. I kindly said nevermind and to cancel any future appointments and I will find somewhere else to be seen. I work in healthcare as a provider and I know how much cancellations and especially no-shows hurt an office and would NEVER intentionally not show up for an appointment. They had zero compassion for the fact that I was uncomfortably pregnant roaming around trying to find this place with the wrong directions and then also having to schedule and reschedule several times. It made me realize that if their frontline service was this inconsiderate, I definitely did not want to be seen by the group at all. "The patient is always right" does not apply to this group apparently and they don't take ownership for their own lack of communication as well as sending paperwork with the wrong addresses."
