"My son was diagnosed with B cell lymphoma. His spleen was enlarged it had actually engulfed part of the colon . My son was at the VA hospital and they requested a special second opinion !! Dr Phillips was amazed at the size of the spleen and ultimately removed the spleen , partial colon , partial , stomach and the pancreas. Basically he saved my son's life ! Now we are continuing the fight with the rounds of chemo but make no mistake about this if Dr Phillips hadn't done the surgery he did my son Essten would not be here to fight .
