About the Business
Yin Yang Yoga 4 You is a non-profit yoga studio located at 1229 West Maryland Street in Evansville, Indiana. Our mission is to empower the community towards lives of joy, peace, and purpose through affordable and accessible yoga classes.
Yoga has numerous physical and mental benefits, including increased flexibility, muscle strength, and improved respiration. It can also help manage stress, improve mental well-being, and increase body awareness.
Our classes are led by experienced instructors who specialize in different types of yoga, such as Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga. Bob leads Yin Yoga classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 p.m., focusing on relaxation and opening up the body. Tami leads Vinyasa Yoga classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings at 10 a.m., offering a challenging and invigorating practice.
We are proud to announce that Bob's Metta Meditation has been published in the 'Meditation Magazine' The Love Issue, Winter 2022.

"When I started with YYY I had pain in four different spots in my body. I have tried other yoga classes, but they were too difficult and moved too quickly for me. I also didn’t understand what we were doing and why. The instructors at YYY really give you the time to get into the poses that your body is requiring and they foster a culture of absolute acceptance and positivity as they teach. After 10 days with them all of my pain was down about 80% and my mood and energy were significantly improved. After four weeks with them my pain was gone, my core strength and balance were significantly improved along with my energy and unexpected to me, a significant decrease in anxiety which I didn’t even realize was there. I found myself spontaneously being more mindful in my every day life and I highly recommend this group to anyone that’s ever been interested in learning yoga."
