"Run from these crooks. We had a very similar experience to everyone else it seems. You can find reviews all across Google, Yelp, Etc. that tell the story; just look it up. I wish we would have. Shotty coaching, being lied to about what would be included, using high schoolers to coach, and ignoring all attempts to make things right. Even the poor coach that hosted the event was frustrated; He is the one who told all of the parents to reach out to the company and ask for a refund. He asked the company to cancel the event due to the adult coaches canceling but, of course, they were more concerned with the money than anything else. For us, we are specifically calling out Cody Nelson and Jeff Lee. Cody was not only rude when we voiced our concerns he was mean and disrespectful. We will be reaching out to our good friends at the Attorney General's Office, the Secretary of State, the Better Business Bureau, and Trust Pilot to name a few. They sort of picked the wrong parent to screw with on this one."
"I've been involved in baseball for a long time and the fundamentals that US Baseball uses to "dust the rust off" of young baseball players are fantastic. They systemically take a young player through both passive and active drills. As a coach and site director I have been involved with their camps since 2008 and strongly recommend this type of camp for young players. We need to continue to stress the fundamentals as the approach to getting better at baseball, and my fear is that is most cases it is being overlooked today. Everybody rushes to play a game. Yet fundamentals are the difference maker when players get to my level! Don't be afraid to learn, go to a US Baseball Camp in your area or better yet find out how you can run one. Get the word out-US Baseball puts the FUN in Fundamentals! Matt Tyner, Head Coach Towson University"
"US Baseball was great for my son and his friends. My 7 year old was given the individualized attention he needed to work in many baseball skills that will carry him to the next level. The drills and skills taught were just what he needed. He will, for sure, be returning next year!"
"An absolute waste of money, do not buy into one of these camps. We signed up for baseball camp between certain days and at a certain location two months in advance. When the camp was starting they let us know that they changed locations and it was a very big difference. It was 10 miles away and at community park that was run down instead of a local high school baseball field where we originally signed up for. The lessons were unorganized and did not challenge my son at all. Also there were rainy days and they decided to extend the days of the camp outside the original dates instead of doing make up days within the originally scheduled time frame. So because they extended the dates instead of doing make up days within the original timeframe my son was unable to attend because he had a little league commitment. I asked them for a partial refund because of all these reasons and they were rude and refused. They wanted to give me a credit but why would I want a credit for a service we were unhappy with? Please don’t buy into this camp!!!!"
"While the experience all depends on the local instruction our most recent camp for my 11 yr son was demotivating when one of Higley HS baseball players who was instructing told him that he catches like 4 year old. While my son can take criticism and can always become a better player, hence why we spent money for him to go to camp, he is pretty darn good that he would flourish with instruction and coaching not negativity from those kind of comments. I doubt we will be back."
