"Very nice stop off to take in a beautiful view and kids can play at the playground. Nice park."
"Good sunset spot! There’s a good amount of parking and a covered pavilion, benches, a playground, second pavilion with picnic tables and a random train too! The view from the lookout point by the white pavilion overlooks a river and faces west. We watched the sunset there a bit, but it was cold so we left a bit early."
"Beautiful! We hold our family reunion here every year! There is PLENTY of room for everyone. The Pavillion is perfect for gatherings and the kids can run free! There's also a great playground for them! We love this place!!!! Also, very clean!"
"Lot of local history here. Watched a few square dance people do their ritual on the hardwood floors in the grand Pavillion. Spent a few days standing on the observer platforms watching the trains go by, the vultures updrafting and the river below snaking."
"Enjoyable little park at the end of route 29 after one passes through Wilmore. Pretty countryside. As you arrive you swing under the bridge then drive into the gate for the park. There is a large open structure that apparently can be rented/used for larger events. An old caboose and some smaller sailing vessels document the history of the area (Curb’s Ferry and the like). The view from the platform is very picturesque and worth the short walk. Some historical interpretive signage helps one understand the bridge and the area."
