Centre Family Dwelling

Located on Old US Highway 68 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, the Centre Family Dwelling is a part of the historic Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. This landmark destination spans over 3,000 acres and was home to the third largest Shaker community in the United States from 1805 to 1910. Family Farm Days & Brunch with the Babies are special events held on April 6, 13, and 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy a day of discovery and exploration, with activities such as architectural tours, gardening workshops, and tasting dishes made from fresh garden ingredients. The Centre offers a variety of hands-on experiences, from searching for critters in the creek to learning about Shaker history.

The Inn at Shaker Village provides comfortable accommodations in 13 restored Shaker buildings, with guest rooms, suites, and private cottages offering unique character and countryside views. The Trustees' Table restaurant serves traditional favorites and seasonal Kentucky dishes made with locally sourced ingredients.
