"This place is horrible! It was nothing like they said it would be while doing intake over the phone. I brought my Doctor prescribed medications in with me (Antidepressants). They did not give me any the first day. When they eventually did on the 3rd day they did not give me my second dose the whole time I was there. I was driven back and handed a plastic bag with medications they had given me while there and only 1 of my medications I took in with me. They still have not given me my medicine back. They expect me to drive over an hour back to pick up my medicine that they did not give to me."
"I didn't believe the comments about personal property and money being taken or kept, until now. You can't reach anyone by phone. We have left message after message, and calls have been returned. They are aware of the situation, and we are currently looking into filing a theft report. If they expect their clients to be held accountable for their actions, they too should be held accountable. I have never been a client there, but a loved one was. We sent a money order, not realizing they had been transferred to another facility, and they kept the money order, along with a book bag, with all his clothing and personal items, that we also had purchased. That is just WRONG!!"
"Man I’ll be honest with y’all. Arc saved my life. I was going down a terrible dark path. Came to ARC around the end of May and started getting my old self back. I’ve lived here at crown for going on 4 months and I honestly don’t have a bad word one to say about it. If you’re struggling with addiction and find yourself on that dark road as well, seek help. It is possible if you want to change."
"I started ARC a little over a year ago, and took my five star off just recently. The changes in a year working here as a nurse have blown my mind, not just talking about CROWN but as a whole, I’ve helped probably almost all facilities within ARC and was very thankful for the opportunity to be apart of your loved one’s recovery story. In recent lights I achieved higher education, credentials and have been made feel worthless by bettering myself. I have reached out and followed the proper chain of command and they are well aware of my feelings. I stand by ARC helps people (there are still nurses there and staff that 100% want to help your loved ones and make each of our clients their priority) and this is the place to bring your loved one struggling with addiction before you take them to the other facilities which I’ve seen some first hand make the client worse off then when they came seeking help. So while I still stand and advocate to bring your loved ones here, I don’t much recommend it to be the ideal place to work as a Nurse. I cannot speak for other positions but given the treatment many have left for and myself being told I cannot do something that I was asked to do and made feel guilty for helping it’s not an idea work environment. I was going to have to resign to take care of my FIL who is a disabled vet and lives with us, has MS chair bound, paralyzed from waist down, not much lung capacity left due to surviving lung cancer, and dealing with my own handicaps (I have overcame what doctors said I wouldn’t ever be able to do again (walk, be a nurse!)). I reached out and apologized for not being able to physically come in reliably enough for our clients, was asked to help in other ways and have for a year now, just to be told what I do doesn’t have a position, yet if you’ve ever been in upper management you know if there is needs and accomplishments being made, a position can be made, but they don’t value me like I valued them. Good Nurses getting wrote up for rumors, (this is not middle school, we are professionals), nurses being promoted for going against the ethical standards we are suppose to uphold, it’s unfortunate because I absolutely love being a part of someone’s sobriety journey but when you’re a mental health nurse making someone doing a damn good job, who cares feel mentally hurt not a five star warrant. I have many praises from directors of probably almost every facility within ARC, nurses, other staff tell me how thankful they are for me, and then be told “you cannot do that, or you have to do it this way, or the best one “there isn’t a position for what you do here!” Except I’ve been doing it for over a year and literally two minutes after that was said was asked to do what I was just told didn’t exists, mental health stable?…. Not sure but I want to think I can make this 1 star a 5 again because I had so much hope and desire to truly work somewhere holistically awarding. On a side note (don’t be encouraged to make a review a couple weeks after starting a job bc you want to be oblivious to the newness, and praises that go away after a couple months. If you or someone you love needs help please bring them to a center within ARC for the most part your daily client care staff will take your treatment personal and help lead you from crisis to career! I will hopefully also get to continue to get the pleasure of helping be apart of your recovery journey, for this has been one of my greatest pleasures in life and God has put me here to do this line of work, being with ARC or some where else I will be your biggest advocate!"
"I lived here for 7 months in 2021. Became an Intern and eventually moved on to Lake Oasis . Can’t say enough good things about John , Kevin , Tyler and Hunter. Was blessed to have known each and every one of them . You’ll find everything you need at this facility and you won’t find a better ARC experience. There’s ton s of opportunity there and if you are looking for a career I’d strongly suggest starting there."
