Reviews of Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center
"Very Very caring people al the way from front desk to the Dr .. He was very thorough and nice along with every girl they talked so sweet and nicer than any other hospital iv been gave me breathing treatment I needed and took good care of me and my son Riley. These people go above and beyond there job duties to help in witnessed this and was impressed big time .."
"Sadly I had to give it a full star. Horrible experience!!! Patient (grandpa) not feed until I would demand they bring trays! Messed his medicines up and threw him into atrial flutter! Allowed him to fall during a simple radiology scan! I highly recommend you pass this hospital up and go to any other one possible! Heck a veterinarian would be a better choice"
"Terrible care. Went to the ER and gave them my insurance info upon check in. It was never added to my stay and now I owe them 6k out of pocket. They also just let me lay there in a bed for 3 hours before even thinking of doing an ultrasound on my gallbladder. I ended up checking myself out hours later because I was getting NO care and they put a withdrawal patient next to me that stressed me out majorly (it wasn't his fault, but I'm phobic about a certain thing and he was triggering my panic attacks). Wherever that guy is, I hope he's doing well."
"I would give them a -25 if I could. The Emergency Department is a joke. They have no regard for a person's well-being. I sat for almost 3 hours waiting to be called back. Watched 8 people go ahead of me. They left a girl with Covid and me waiting. I finally left after they wouldn't tell me if I had a longer wait or not. They told me to go to Pikeville, it would be faster. After I got home I called them and asked "if an ambulance comes after me, you HAVE to see me then, right?" This woman literally told me "it's up to the doctor's discretion...!?!?" Are you serious??!! I know FEDERALLY that isn't allowed. This place should be shut down."
"Visited the ER today normal event. Had to wait for some blood test every two hours. This was not a problem. The Nurses and whoever that is stationed outside of the rooms is without a doubt the loudest most inconsiderate bunch I have ever encountered in my 70 years. If it was just hospital business it would not be as bad, but complaining about their work place we did not need to hear. I told them when getting ready to leave how loud and noisy they were and I thought they had been injected with a phonograph needle. Asked how much longer we had to.wait for the test results, they replied they had all that they were waiting for just needed someone to tell them what to do with us.They removed the IV my wife had and left. The room. Had to go get someone because her arm was pouring blood from the IV. The lady that came to help explained IVs bleed like that sometimes. No one came to release us and we left as they watched us. This needs to.be shared and used as a training tool. Did not tell us to follow up or anything. Will drive the extra miles before ever going back."
