During our time at the Golden Pond Visitor Center, we discovered intriguing facts about the Land Between the Lakes, such as the presence of over 100 family cemeteries scattered throughout the area. This added a layer of historical significance to our exploration, highlighting the rich tapestry of the region's past. One particularly exciting piece of information led us to the nearby Bison and Elk Range. For a nominal fee of $5, we were able to enter with our car and witness wild buffalo and elk thriving in their natural habitat. This experience was both humbling and awe-inspiring, providing a rare opportunity to connect with nature in its purest form. "Exciting driving through the 3 mile road and seeing elk outside your window. We saw many elk but that day we didn't see any Buffalo. In another area they have Buffalo in a field where you can see them in herds."

"This is a small visitor's center, but it is packed with a lot of area information if you will take the time to read. Friendly staff and a nice gift shop. Looks like there is a nice picnic area also."

"Beautiful place to take a walk, enjoy amazing scenery, and grab some memorable treasures! The Planetarium is also fantastic!! I am unsure of attraction prices this season as we just stopped to stretch our legs and enjoy the area for a few minutes."
