"Wow, where to start! The Highlands Music Academy has been very accommodating to me. When I first became a student I bit off more than I could chew by enrolling in both piano and guitar lessons. Once I realized it was way too much for me, they aloud me to drop my guitar lessons and credit the difference towards my piano lessons. Also as new student I wanted to switch days and instructors to better accommodate my needs. I was allowed to do so. Then I met my current instructor...love, love, love her. When I realized I wasn't grasping the concepts at the rate I hoped I would, I told her I felt the book we were using was a little too difficult for me and asked if I could just start all over from scratch with the basics. I was then aloud to sample a Piano Express course with the kids but decided that wasn't for me. Now I'm going to use their curriculum but stay in my private lessons. What more can I ask for from a school? They have accommodated every need and request I've had! I give them 5 stars and I definitely recommend them!"

"I’m a visual artist and I’ve been wanting to explore a different medium. Last winter, I decided to start violin lessons. Highlands Music Academy was very responsive and encouraging to my inquiry. They matched me with a kind and patient teacher, Ubaldo, and I’ve had so much fun learning. I used to teach adult education and I encourage any other adults thinking about learning music to give it a try- you are never too old!"

"The instructor (Ms. Emma) is super friendly and provides great feedback. Although it’s my daughter’s first guitar lessons she felt at ease and comfortable upfront. "Highlands Music Academy is top notch. My first experience with them was during the start of the pandemic. My middle child was able to start lessons and continue online still to this day. He is excelling at guitar with his fantastic teacher Beto. My youngest child has recently started to go in for his piano lessons and is thrilled with his teacher Ms.Emma ( as well as me.) My oldest has shown interest in voice lessons and we are now starting this week with a newly hired teacher. What I have to say is that the selection of instruments being taught are amazing. I highly recommend lessons from here."

"We are big fans of Sam! Both my boys love taking lessons from him. One takes piano and the other violin. He has a great balance between fun and discipline. Lessons are very age appropriate and I love how he teaches not just music, but the proper positions (how to stand, sit, bow etc). And this is especially important because I have two very active boys! I also appreciate that they offer early afternoon time slots since we are a homeschooling family."
