"Always walk away with knowing we made a good purchase. Love the sales staff. Down to earth and easy to relate to."
"Mary is a friendly and helpful sales person. Knows the furniture and was quite helpful in our making a purchase. Good store, great selection."
"We enjoyed our time with Amy and l I've our new reclining sofa. They got it delivered and functioning even though we were at home 500 miles away at the time."
"Bought a rocking chair which was supposed to be delivered in time for baby's arrival. I was told it would take 4 months to deliver. When the chair did not deliver in time, I was told it was at the warehouse where I could pick it up. Turns out, the chair I was to pick up was the same scratched leather chair from I had sampled on the floor at the store. They denied this and told me it was a different, new chair. Fortunately, I had a picture of the chair on the floor at the store and proved my point. While at the warehouse, it was confirmed by tags and warehouse employees that this company frequently sells the floor models that are damaged as "new" items. Corporate also confirmed the floor models are considered "new" even if they are damaged when given to a customer. Horrible experience and soooo many lies. I am grateful to the warehouse employees who actually seemed to show empathy for the lost money and poor product I was given. Believe the poor reviews that try to warn you of this company losing its integrity."
"I hate to write a bad review, but my post sale service has been so terrible I feel it is necessary. This is a franchise store. This is important because they have no control post sale. And if you call post sale and post warranty (by 3 months) you will not get a kind welcome. I called to ask for a customer service number and to see if I had any options after my insurance claim was denied (the insurance they recommended). I really just wanted advise on what I could do about the issue. I was greeted by a very curt sales person who would not let me speak to anyone else, remined me they were a franchise, reluctantly gave me a number to call and offered no other solutions. I asked him if La-z-boy had a number and he, obviously annoyed, said he had been there for over 10 years and there has never been another number. I called the number, left a message and waited over a week. I called back, waited another week and heard back from her, I could tell my options were limited, explained the lag in time, and she took my concerns up. When the answer came down, it was as expected and not positive. I still have a hole in my couch. I asked if there was a repair department, there is not. My frustration is not with the denial of my claim 3 months out of warranty. My frustration with the locally owned franchise is the way they handled the situation. It is clear they have had this issue before and have their own frustrations with La-z-boy. Once they have your money, you are someone else's problem and that someone else is too big to care. I am disappointed that my investment piece of furniture is not holding up as expected and that the franchise nor La-z-boy stand behind the quality of the product. I am disappointed that I am having to source my own leather shop to repair the couch with zero guidance from the store. DO NOT Invest your money with them, they do not value you."
