"I lost my job and all this apartment complex wants is money. I never moved in and the bathroom had not been cleaned chipped bath tub with tile that was not done properly. Now they want me to pay the over 3,365 dollars for time I never lived there. They lied to me saying they were not going charge me. But then they sent it to collections. So that they could get money for someone with out job at time and they told me I owed them for February. I was November when they told a deposit and told me not to worry about it. This place is greed and run down."
"Paula and the staff were great!! They got me approved the same day I applied and communicated with me through the whole process. They answered all my calls/emails and were very professional. Since I’ve been here everything has been great!!!"
"If I could give this place a lower rating, I would. I lived at these apartments before they became Rivers at Bluegrass. Rent was $625 for a one bed, one bath. I knew what I was paying for, I wasn't picky. I know how the living market looks right now but there is no way I'd pay $800+ for the same thing at this place. Never once did I feel comfortable using the on-site laundry. The pool has never been open to health concern. Bugs no matter how clean you are. And when this new company came in, the regular spraying for bugs stopped. Anyone off the streets staying/ sleeping in the hallways at all times. There was an apartment on the bottom floor that began to use an extension cord to hook up to the hallway outlet one level above them. I heard from a neighbor on that floor that management knew about this as they gave that unit a "warning" but it never stopped. It was a constant tripping hazard for me, who lived on the top floor and was pregnant at the time. Trash was always in the hallways and the lawn areas. Even after they took the carpet out and put down the vinyl, it smelt like animals and smoke. They put in the lease, no smoking in the units, my place always smelled due to my neighbor. And these were just the every day annoyances. Once I was getting ready to move but still had a couple months of my lease that I DID NOT end early, my things were stolen twice! After the first time, I expressed my concerns that it could have been the third party they hired to renovate the apartments as they became vacant as parts of my deadbolt looked brand new and the door was locked before I found the theft. There of course no concrete way for me to prove this but, after two years of living in the same old place, I knew the deadbolt turner felt different as that is the only way to lock your door. After they tried to "compromise" by letting me out of my lease without penalty and deposit back, it happened again. Except this time it was without a doubt the renovators who went ahead and began work on my unit. They took out everything I had left BEFORE I came to close the lease and return my keys. There was still food in the fridge and cleaning supplies and cooking supplies, including a nice microwave. Enough stuff to tell that someone hadn't moved out yet. Oh but management TOLD them not to go in there but yet my unit was put on the list for vacancy. All I was told was that there was nothing that could do about the third party as they weren't responsible for them. 61 days later, (way past the up to 30 that is written in the lease agreement for deposit refund), of multiple contact with management and the president of Wellness management and who ever else manages Rivers at Bluegrass, I got my deposit and some compensation. I'm not delusional, I knew where I was living at. But I believe that anywhere you rent, its value comes from how it is managed first. When this place was Pegasus Place Apartments, at least I felt heard and the basic maintenance was taken care of. Now there are a couple phone numbers you could TRY to call and leave a voicemail and hope they get back to you. You can TRY to go to the office but more than likely, they're closed for staff meetings (the whole day) or just closed early with no notice. It's very obvious that the 5 star reviews you see on Google are paid for. It's sad that THAT'S their approach to seem better than to actually do better."
"These people have been going through a lot of change in during that change I feel like they’ve helped a lot with moving process and everything and the staff is very kind and caring and actually takes care of the customers and their phones have been down by when you come in the office they help you and it’s because of their Internet it’s not their fault at all! and the new owners is really turning the place around!"
"Maintenance doesn't know what they are doing, the bathtub clogs constantly, they only fix things is if you complain about it, over charge for so called remodeled apartments. They have no amenities for the residents. Fake glued on hardwood floors, they don't replace the cabinets they smell and are old, they slap on cheap paint. When there is snow and ice out they don't put salt down and I almost fell on black ice. Our bathroom has no fan blade and my worst experience here was when I almost got hit by the metal piece that came flying off the door and almost hit me in the head. Our AC was leaking and it took maintenance 2 days to get to our apartment and that is a fire hazard because it was over the electrical outlet. And because they don't want to resolve any issues their advice is to break lease and move."
