"Ridgewood apartments is a great place to live and the management goes above and beyond. The manager, Joanna, is so helpful and does everything she can to help the residents. If something needs to be repaired she sees that it gets done quickly and in a timely manner. She's always been there to answer any questions or concerns we've had. We've been here for years now and this is one of the nicest places in the area. It's quiet, it's kept clean and the maintenance person gets things done fast. Joanna is not only a great manager but she's also someone we think of as a friend. She's part of what makes living here such a nice place. I highly recommend looking into Ridgewood if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet place to live."

"As my first apartment lease I was a little worried at first, but the Ridgewood Apartments have been nothing but helpful and provided support when needed. The apartment is in an excellent location making it easy to get around on South Hurstbourne, Breckenridge, or Bardstown. Close enough to various stores and restaurants that fighting traffic was not bad at all to go shopping or eating. When there was an issue with the apartment I received quick services and problems were solved within 48 hours of me addressing them. I would highly recommend anyone to these apartments."

"I have lived in this complex for over a year now and in 2 different units. Both units had new flooring and were updated beautifully. The office and maintenance staff are also extremely prompt and helpful. Definitely an apartment complex I would recommend."

"I've lived in this complex for 7 years and it has gone seriously downhill since Elon took over. First of all, there is space in front of every apartment for you to make a garden. Don't bother. The lawn crew will weedwhack down anything you plant. It doesn't matter if it's well maintained flowers surrounded by mulch and fenced off, they will eventually cut it all down. Then when you complain they'll say they're sorry, tell you they'll buy you new flowers, and never actually do it. This has happened EVERY YEAR. I gave up trying last year, and interestingly, when your garden becomes overgrown with weeds, they don't cut THAT down. Only flowers when you go to the trouble to maintain it. Don't expect the lawn crew to mow away from your car either... they will blow grass clippings and rocks all over it. Second of all, in April 2016 some kids drove by and shot at the apartments along the street with pellet guns, breaking and cracking the windows of every apartment facing the street. We called right away, told them we had a hole through the window, and the neighbor's windows were cracked too. It took them until DECEMBER to replace the window! And the neighbors windows still haven't been replaced in November 2017. They will drag their feet on every repair. We called about the faucet leaking a month ago, still not fixed. There are cockroaches and rats living in the crawl space under the building. We told them about the hole where they were getting in last year, they haven't patched that either. So more rats show up. I've trapped 4 rats in the past year. When we moved in there was 1 smoke detector per apartment, so we went and bought more, 1 for each bedroom and the laundry room because we don't want to die if a fire breaks out somewhere other than the hallway. Recently they decided they want to install more smoke detectors, and when we told them we already had them, they said they didn't care. So they're coming in whether we're home or not so we can have 2 smoke detectors per bedroom now. Everything is done as cheaply as possible here. They hired painters who half-assed it, paint was peeling off 2 days later. The carpet wears through in just 3 years, the vinyl floor tears just from the weight of the washing machine. They've tried hard to make it look nice from the outside, painting and sealing the parking lot, but it's a slum. The only good thing about it is there are almost no kids and people are quiet."
