"I’ve lived here for over a year now, and unfortunately I will have to be moving elsewhere after my lease is up this year. First, this apartment is outrageously expensive considering it’s amenities. The gym is so overly hot that I can’t be in there for longer than 10 minutes without dripping in sweat. The maintenance is extremely unreliable. We have had a maintenance request in for about 3 weeks now and we have not even gotten any sort of response. Meanwhile I have encountered the maintenance people playing the game pool in the lobby multiple times now, while all of our requests have yet to be taken care of. They constantly raise their rent and parking rates to the point where I can’t afford to live here any longer. They also do consistent room checks and will charge you fees for the smallest things, like having dust on your fan for an example. While the location of the building is great, everything else about this apartment is inadequate."

"I think this is a pretty good place to live overall. Nice amenities, and management has been pretty accommodating and helpful. Sometimes maintenance gets really backed up and takes a while. Other than that I really haven’t had any issues. Super convenient distance from campus."

"Yugo Louisville Nine is a great place to live as a college student. It is very close to campus (just across the street/roundabout) and has a lot of college-friendly amenities. Their free black-and-white printing has been very beneficial. The managers and staff here are all very kind and will take the time to listen to any concerns about the apartment/maintenance. They do the absolute most to try to make this a great living experience. One thing I really like is that the rooms are a good size with private bathrooms. Overall, this apartment is great for temporary college life!"

"Buyer beware!!!!!The best thing about the Louisville nine is its location. Other than that I cannot give it high reviews. Their policies are downright predatory praying on the students of the university of Louisville. The fees for every little thing are outrageous. You have to pay a $75 fee to sign up for the online utility bill portal, which is pretty much as much as what the utility bills are for the year. We are charged an extra fee because my daughter’s room overlooks the pool, which is green most of the year. The parking is a mess and ridiculously expensive. They are raising the fee from $79/month to $100/month. It’s hard to get someone on the phone and when you do it’s often a student who doesn’t know what they are talking about. The management is rude and dismissive. This is university affiliated housing and I wish the University would use its influence to protect the students from these predatory practices. So frustrating ."

"If you’re a student looking to house here I WOULD NOT! Management doesn’t care about your roommate preferences- we were a pet friendly apartment until they put a girl in that’s allergic to animals, the garage is so tight it’s hard to get your car in, they don’t care about name preferences, they do stupid room checks, it takes forever for maintenance to come, if you have to park your car on the road I hope you have good insurance because it’s bound to get broken into/hit. Sure some of management is nice and the front office workers, but just house somewhere else."
