"Angie, on today the 17th January, 2024, was professional, in every way. She answered questions of concern for me and gave me telephone numbers addresses and codes. To assist me a smooth transaction. Military life is fun exciting and very fulfilling for all involved. Thank you Angie and all the staff in the leasing dept for being there for me. Sharon again thank you."
"Mia and Andria were extremely professional, easy to work with, answered all my questions and concerns about the house in a timely manner. One of my best experiences I had dealing with on post housing."
"Checking in was so easy. From contact to move in took less than a week and everyone at Knox Hills was great! Angie at the Oak Park Community Office was FANTASTIC! I couldn't ask for a better experience."
"We lived on Fort Knox for just over a year till we were able to secure housing in the area. The neighborhoods are nice and well maintained. There were a few hiccups with trash collection and mowing services, but nothing too bad. The ladies in the office are amazing to work with. Always there to help with a smile on their faces. We would stop in on our walks just to chat. Thanks for all the hard work keeping the community nice!"
"I have had issues with Knox Hills since day one. When I arrived, I stayed in the hotel for about two weeks. My move-in date for my home was July 5, 2022. When I went for a walk-through with the leasing consultant, she was 20 minutes late. The house they showed me was dirty, and the rooms were tiny. I expressed my concerns to the leasing consultant, whose response was, "most people clean their houses when they move in." I also told my concerns about how small the rooms were and that my furniture may not fit. I returned to the leasing office to see if more homes were available. The leasing agent took me to a house with three bedrooms and said these rooms were more spacious also that I could put in a move-over request for a larger home. When I moved into my new home, I could not get into the house because there wasn't a lockbox, which is what the leasing office told me. I had to sit and wait for them to return to my home with the keys. The Oak Park community center never conducted a walk-through with me. I was less than 5 minutes late for our appointment. When I arrived, no one was there. They left a welcome box on my front porch. I never received a courtesy call to reschedule. I went to the community center shortly after, and no one was there. Since being in my home, I have had maintenance issues with my bathroom lights and nosey fans that run 24/7. They have come to my house three times, and it still isn't fixed. My toilet seat is cracked, my child's bedroom door does not close, and doorknobs in my home keep falling off. The numbers on my mailbox have rubbed off. The maintenance department did not put the screen on correctly, and it fell off. I requested a move-over because of those issues and the limited space. The Oak Park community center said they could not honor my request because I had to be living in my home for 11 months, but they failed to relay that message. I asked them if I could terminate my lease because I was utterly dissatisfied with my home and their customer service. They informed me that I could, but I would be charged three months' worth of rent, which is unreasonable. I am so upset about how this company treats service members. I have never had so many issues with on-post housing."
