Preserve Lexington

"Best place to live in Lexington and very reasonably priced! Our apartment was super clean and newly renovated with up to date appliances. The two bedroom is perfect for college roommates with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The pool and game room are so fun and we love having a package room so our packages are safe and secure and we can get them any time. Maintenance requests are always handled super fast too. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, we moved in about a year ago and have renewed for another year. EDIT: It’s been a year since my last review and I must say my experience has been great. Due to my school program, I have to move for my clinical rotations and I’m genuinely so upset because I like l’ve enjoyed my experience here so much. Every maintenance issue I’ve had has been solved within a day (not a business day a literal day), office staff is super friendly, it’s on a bus route to UK’s campus, all amenities are well kept and I’ve enjoyed them. The apartments are beautiful and modern, and when we had issue with our washer not working it replaced in a day. This is a great place to live and the reviews don’t give it justice."

"As someone who has lived in this apartment for six months, there are some good and bad experiences. Pro: the management team has been quite active and responsive, and the facilities in the apartment are generally decent. Cons: The sound insulation is very poor, which means that I can hear the conversations of my neighbors in the adjacent unit, as well as the sounds of people walking in the corridor. This lack of privacy and constant noise can be unbearable at times. The refrigerator and air conditioner in my unit are very noisy, making it difficult to work or study in a quiet environment. Also my apartment is visible from the outside, which means I have had to resort to covering my windows for privacy."

"On move in, carpet was not clean or replaced, minimum it should have been cleaned. It smelled of pet (dog/cat). They have a door fob instead of key (ugh) door blinking yellow on first day. Requested 4 days later new batteries. Got up this morning and to leave and door was blinking yellow and red again, almost had to leave door unlock to leave. Will call office. No storage space, my daughter recommended here because she lived here and shared 2 bedrm with roommate. Said here bedrm was same size. On plus side, nice little (emphasize little ) one bedrm. Had to look quick because new job was beginning soon and move to Lexington area. Nice units for college kids, University Kentucky less mile away. Comes with washers and dryers, and microwave. WIll do til I find nice townhouse in area. Would have given rating 4-5 if not for size and issues with door and carpet."

"Move here at your own Peril! The entire Maintenance staff has walked off the job. Occupancy is at an all time low. People are moving out at an alarming rate. The Manager has no clue what she is doing. My AC has been out for two days now, and the apartment is flooded with no plans from the office to do anything about that. I am told that it will be Wednesday of next week before they will even examine the AC issue. The apartments are all losing AC by the minute. With no maintenance staff, what should I expect?"

"I moved into The Preserve about a year ago and have renewed for another year with my roommate. I love living here! The location is perfect for students, and it’s on the bus route to campus which is so convenient. The appliances and floors are all brand new and the entire apartment was so clean upon move on. The pool, dog park, tennis court, game room, and gym are all really great amenities. I highly recommend The Preserve!"
