"I was told that my non-smoking apartment room on Rose St would be cleaned pre-arrival and move in. However, I was met with the smell of cigarette smoke and weed, and dealing with black mold on a monthly basis in the bathroom no matter how much bleach I use. The carpets were stained with cigarrette burns and some sort of food coloring, and the walls had dirty markings. My door has some rather emo writing on it, and scrubbing that out had no effect. Parking is extremely tight and there are only 2 guest spots. There's a patio.. but the screen door was just laying outside, paired with broken chairs, a bag of onions, and other debris. Nothing there is maintained, and they don't take credit for it either. On the other hand, my friend who lives on the second floor had a huge difference in quality and state of their apartment room and patio. This difference is unacceptable. If you ever wanted to move in here, get a carpet cleaner yourself to see the black waste water that comes out of it."
"Great location for UK medical students. Rent is affordable and Matt is very accommodating and responds in a timely manner. I really enjoyed my time living on Press Ave. Also, an added bonus is being close to KSBar & Grille and DV8 Kitchen."
"Had some problems with the lease and the manager but Matt was quick to help settle everything in a decent and considerate manner. My only recommendation is to make sure that if you move in early to know that you are automatically signed to move out at the end of July, not necessarily a 12 month lease."

BEST recommendation for people who are medical/healthcare students, residents, physicians, and other providers who want to live close to the school in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Apartments are affordable and high quality. Do not miss this place!"
