"PP, I've reached out a number of times through email, phone, mail, and even stopped by the main office..., nothing. I left the property in good condition to have rental deposit returned, but haven't received anything to my forwarding address. I should've received something by mail from you all by now, It's been over 45 days. I haven't had any major issues while being a former tenant, but receiving something in the mail pertaining to return of my rental deposit has been a very, difficult task. What is it going to take to get a response on what's going on with my rental deposit? Former Camelot Ct tenant"
"The issues at Castleton Apartments annd with Pinnacle Properties are numerous I lived here only for one year and left at the conclusion of our lease. Within that time, these are the issues that marred our experience: Lack of Communication - Trying to contact the office was a nightmare. It seems as though relying on a voicemail system is a business model, as they will not answer the office line. Lack of property upkeep between tenants - I spent days cleaning prior to our move in. I shampooed cat hair out of the carpet, cleaned cat food out of closet floors, cleaned the inside of windows, cleaned ivy off of our AC unit and up our exterior brick, scrubbed black crust off of the inside of our toilet bowl, cleaned the inside of our cabinets etc. There were several areas of our carpet that were not properly tethered down and where you could feel tac strips (which were painful if you walked on them). Maintenance requests to correct these items were ignored. Maintenance - While there were some small corrections made upon move in, there were numerous maintenance issues which I had to escalate to the health department to even receive a call back from management. Fridge shelving had been taped together prior to our residence and management refused to address replacement shelving. There was structural damage to the building (missing bricks exposing what appeared to be subfloor, and exterior fencing/downed utility lines on the property) that had occurred in March, which remained uncorrected on our move out in August. Our neighbors air conditioning frequently went out. We had several maintenance issues which management was made aware of on numerous occasions and neglected to make outreach to correct. It is my understanding they have a half dozen (often inexperienced) maintenance workers handling 1000+ properties at various locations. The quality of work executed is often subpar and on occasion, exacerbated an issue. For example - we had linoleum peeling in our bathroom. Maintenance poorly caulked it which caused an inaccessible portion of the floor to become foul and inaccessible to properly clean. Follow up requests to correct this issue were ignored. Community - Noise issues are common, parties late into the night with dozens of attendees are not uncommon, we had people approach our door banging in the middle of the night for fun, parking issues (despite assigned parking), and we were living immediately next to a child sex offender living with an Alias (while we had a toddler), none of which were addressed by management. Accountability - As I was reporting these issues on social media and requesting other tenants join me at city council meetings to report their experiences to community leaders the property manager effectively censored my community outreach, threatening litigation (without citing any potential cause of action to be pursued) to the platform admin."
"I don’t even think they deserve one star. They should get negative stars. I have lived here going on almost 2 years. I have seen more replies and contact on here then they actually have for their residents. Only person worth speaking to and who will actually answer my calls is Olivia. The rest of the staff is rude they laugh on the phone while you’re repeatedly telling them about things that are needed to be fixed and no one ever answering. My dish washer has broken down 4 times and I have yet to receive a call or anyone come look at my dish washer. No one ever answers the phone the best option is to take time out of your busy life and come to the main office. Amanda lies and pretends to be the head boss and tells you lies like no one else is available to talk to that’s above her when indeed their is. I have had the worst experience living here. You are better off going to a motel than paying pinnacle. The conditions they keep these houses are horrible. If someone breaks you’re better off trying fix is yourself. They hire different lawnmower who destroy your property. Whatever you do listen to the reviews. They are not lying with what is being said negatively. If you all reply to me I need my dish washer fixed that I let Amanda know 3 times now."
"We found out our apartment was bug infested. We tried contacting the maintenance department several times through calls and online requests. We were given 3 different numbers to call and no one ever answered nor tried to call us back after several voicemails. The apartment was not cleaned nor prepped before we moved in. We still have cockroaches all over our floors and no one has came to clean it up."
"When I first moved in it looked amazing, My first year I had no working heat I called robin and left emails finally after a year I emailed them and said I wasn’t going to pay rent until my heat worked. The emergency maintenance number didn’t even work my subfloor was falling apart underneath my sink there was a hole that lead to outside and because the failed to fix it my cat was able to get out and was hit by a car. When they finally came to fix my bathroom they left all the trash in the back yard. And lastly they filed an eviction on me saying I was late in rent ( I had proof I wasn’t) when I called and asked for an itemized bill they would deny my request the few pictures I posted are just some of the horrors I lived with my AC unit was leaking in the water was going into the outlet, causing that outlet to finally blow When I called maintenance, he told me it would be months before he can get me another AC unit the maintenance man will just park in front of my house and stare at my house until my girlfriend would walk out I was asleep in my living room, and one of the maintenance man just walked in without any notice. Not to mention the black mold that was everywhere."
