"I don't know if anyone could be more nervous than I was. Nothing used to scare me, but my body has changed with age. It doesn't help that I now have a rare allergy that causes me to watch for anything with mammal by-products, including things used at the dentist office. It just adds worry on top of it, but Dr. Mortenson took my allergy serious, and switched the type of stitches being used. I also have panic attacks, and with all my worries, I just knew I could not be awake to have my broken tooth extracted. The ladies that work with him are so wonderful. I felt faint from laughing gas, or possibly my nerves, but one nurse commented to turn it off, and both were so wonderful to distract me, and help me get my breathing back in order. They treated me like family and always wanted to make sure I was comfortable. When the doctor came in, they were slick. I said a few words to him and was out like a light! That was the best thing they could have done (not telling me they were getting ready to knock me out.) If they had warned me, I probably would have been panicked. I woke up fine and thought I was still talking with the ladies, even though later I realized it was the doctor I last spoke to. lol I woke up and heard one of them say, "It's out." I said, "What? It's out?" Talk about a big smile on my face, except with gauze in my mouth. lol Another review described it perfectly: I left there wanting to hug everyone! I will definitely go back here if I ever need another tooth pulled. They are such wonderful people that work perfectly together to make everything less painful in so many ways."
