"I don’t even know where begin when it comes to The Safe House Childcare Center. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My 6 year old son attends the Saturday care here about twice a month. The home is always nice and clean and free of clutter. The colors are neutral making the small care space feel cozy. The owners Chiqweda and James both have an amazing personality and great conversation. My son loves them both. Might I add they feed the children real home cooked meals not any of that frozen stuff like some centers. If you’re looking for a small home childcare center, I highly recommend them and to top it off the pricing is far beyond reasonable."

"Mrs. Chiqweda truly is amazing! My daughter stayed with my mom for the first 8 months of life and then we started to transition her to daycare. She went to the Children's Lighthouse of Lake Houston for two months before my husband and I decided that it was not a good fit for her. She was just wasn't adjusting at all to the daycare life. I researched many different in home daycare's and in fact visited two that had 10+ years experience before taking a tour at The Safe House Childcare Center. I remember reading her bio on her page and being a bit nervous, but I also had to remember that this same women had two kids of her own and also served and protected. So, I contacted her and went for a tour and upon meeting her I knew that it was God's will that I had stumbled across her information on Nextdoor. I immediately gave our two week notice at daycare and secured our spot with her. Our daughter has now been in her care for three weeks and she has done so well with her. She used to be so attached to her dad and I, that now she is more open to people and just a happy baby in general. I'm glad we met her, and I am sure if you decide to enroll your child in her daycare that you will too!"
