"The Goddard School is filled with teachers who love their students, and support staff who make the parents job easier on a daily basis. I appreciate the way that the Center Director and Education Director know my child's needs and can give meaningful direction on how to best serve them. When I drop off my kids at Goddard, I know they are in safe hands and will come home saying how much fun they had with their peers."
"The staff and leadership are absolutely fantastic. They are so patient, caring, and helpful with our kids. They don't just "babysit" our children. They educate them. The school in Friendswood has become a second home for us and it feels like family. We love this school and the people there. Jeff and Antonia Way"
"My kid loves The Goddard School of Friendswood! the schools staff is friendly and professional , the facility is super clean and our kids education progress is fantastic. I love seeing my child run and hug the various teachers and staff - even though I get a bit jealous for not getting the same excitement at pick up."
"My son was at Goddard for one month before we decided it wasn’t a good fit for us. For one, my son was always upset and running for us when we picked him up. At his first home daycare that he attended before this, he acted nothing like that - he was relaxed and happy. Additionally, we didn’t like the rule of not being able to go into the classroom. It felt super corporate & strange that we couldn’t get familiar with the teacher or the room he was spending so much time in. The classroom has no cameras. I’m still shocked at the price for what we got. Furthermore, the teachers (aside from one) seemed grouchy and disconnected to the children. Occasionally I would wait in the car when my husband went in and picked up my son and I’d see the kids play outside on the playground with none of the adults interacting. The teachers (adults) seemed bored. These were toddler or barely walking age children. For me, I prefer teachers who are involved and interacting with kids - so seeing that made me sad. Another issue we had was the early limit on drop off - you cannot drop off after 9am. Unlike the Goddard school in Pearland where you can drop off all the way up to noon. Finally, we had a very high rate of “incident reports” when my son would get hurt - some very minor but others a little concerning. He never got hurt so often at the previous daycare. That could be due to their strict (corporate like) policy of calling and making reports on the tiniest things or they just need more teachers assisting in the room. My son was in First Steps class for reference. The only good thing about this Daycare, IMO, is the up to date playground and facilities. Goddard has a good reputation, so, we were surprised that our experience was disappointing. Altogether, would not recommend sending your kiddo here."
