"We love LaBranch! Our experience with the twos classroom was incredible despite a rough transition when we moved childcare centers, thanks to understanding leadership and teachers. My child has moved up to a different classroom this year, but she still feels the care and love from her former teachers."
"I picked up my kid from school one day and he had a purple eye. I called Ms Judith and she went to ask Ms D and her response was “ I don’t know” . I even got off early to pop in at times and I see the staff on their phones or putting their head down . I had another incident where Ms pat grabbed my son arm and I tried to explain my situation to the director (Ms Tianna) and all she did was take notes, but it seemed that the issues gotten worse over time. This school puts up a front every time a parent drops off their kid."
"I pulled my son after four days. Each day was increasingly worse. I trusted that it was a good program, because it was naeyc accredited and I am very familiar with naeyc standards. I am sad to say, I relied too heavily on that and should have never taken my infant here. Just a few points of many: The staff does not communicate well between themselves, including administration. It took me several weeks of reaching out to them to even get him enrolled. Then I was continuously asked things that should have been in his file and given conflicting information. The staff was less than interested in engaging with my child. I was told to place him "in the buggy" every morning at arrival. I alternated my arrival times to see if they would be more available later in the day, but not once did anyone physically take my baby from me at exchange. They seemed to be completely flabbergasted that my baby was cloth diapered. I have not had this response from any other school we toured."
"Our experience at La Branch was very personal and special. Our son was here for one year, from 18 mos to 30 mos. He developed tremendously well with the help of this center and had a great time doing it. And so did we! They always had fun activities on the schedule, sent us lots of pictures, surprised us with meaningful artwork, communicated well with us and just generally did an excellent job by and for our precious little guy. We just can't say enough about everyone but especially Miss Judy who introduced us to the center and was there day in and day out with a warm smile, and Miss TeAnna who somehow oversaw the whole school while still having personal relationships with each of the children, and of course Miss Trina and Miss Rachel who spent the year teaching and loving our son. We left Houston in June 2020 but we still to talk to our son about his wonderful time at La Branch. It truly is a very special place with very special people. We consider them our family and when we think of them and our time there, we think of home."
"Absolutely Horrible! I popped in at the center, and saw the team allowing small toddlers to be outside on the ground, during cold and windy weather unattended. I rushed to pick up my baby who was freezing cold with blue lips!! If I came a few minutes later, I would not have been there to witness the ill treatment. I also witnessed several infants crying while the team showed little regard. The Center was great about putting on a front around parents, once children were left alone, they were neglected and ill treated!!!! The staff was unappologetic and very unconcerned!!! I was forced to abrubtly unenroll my child!!! Very disappointing for a mother just getting back into the work force with a small toddler!!!"
