"We stayed here on a Halloween weekend and it was a lovely stay. The cottage was beautiful, with a huge bed, tub and loft area. The mansion is gorgeous as well, historically intriguing and very beautifully decorated/homey. Breakfast was delicious… everything was fantastic and its all nestled in a cute little country town. We will be back for sure."

"Lylewood is beautiful & comfortable. Mandy makes you feel right at home, and she's a great cook! More delicious breakfast than we could eat, including her own homemade jams. Pay attention to her when she tells you the best way to get there, or your GPS just might take you to a closed ferry (fortunately we listened!) I hope to stay there again sometime!"

"Mandy (the owner and manager) is so sweet you'll get a toothache. The rooms are beautiful and kept very clean. Cask iron bathtubs with rustic style sinks. The breakfast is served at the guests requested time and the portions and quality is over the top. Couldn't have been happier staying here and would absolutely recommend getting a room here if you can (limited capacity)."

"The whole property is fantastic! Mandy really makes you feel like you are a part of the family. The beds are comfortable and the handmade quilts on each bed are gorgeous. The breakfast is fantastic, do not miss out on the food! There was always more than enough for our family of five. Also, Mandy made my kids right at home and made sure to let us know that they were free to explore. This place and area has a rich history and Miss Mandy seems to know all that you need to know!"
