"Worst place I've ever stayed in my life and recommended any and everyone to book any hotel but this one. I booked this hotel for a night and was not given my deposit back and I was also charged extra and I didn't do anything that would jeopardize me losing my deposit. And they charged me 3 different prices. This so called hotel is a joke and a scam..... DO NOT STAY HERE"

"Reserved weeks ago. Get there around 8 pm after 8 hours of driving, and they don't have my room because they never cleaned it. Instead, they check us into another room, and only after is when we learn the card reader isn't working correctly, so we have to ask every time to open the door for us if we both leave. The beds are rock hard, and the room smells very musky. The front desk guy was nice, though. Save your money. I really wish I hadn't chosen to stay here."

"The Gold Vault is a nice hotel. Our king room is spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable and they have a regular blanket on the beds instead of those horrible duvets that are too hot in summer and winter. The staff that we have interacted with have been courteous and helpful. We will stay here again if we travel to this area."

"First, the pros. The hotel lobby and hallways look clean. The pool was operational during our stay and is larger than most hotel pools. The pool deck has a clean, attractive appearance. The beds were decent. Now, the bad. Our room was more like that of a motel, than a hotel, both in size and layout. The sink is at the entrance and not in the bathroom. The room smelled like old cigarettes. The light over the sink didn't work. Our key card door locks malfunctioned and needed to be fixed during our stay. Most of the door locks on the door that led from our room to the pool, never worked. There were roaches in the pool and on the pool deck. As for breakfast, they did have a handful of breakfast items, like hot waffles and biscuits and gravy, but nowhere near the selection or amount that a typical hotel breakfast would consist of. Nowhere near that of the "breakfast buffet" that they advertise. Breakfast is very inconsistent. One morning, it was virtually empty by 8am and was never refilled (breakfast is until 9am). The next day, much earlier, there was even less of a selection. We were staying as part of a block of rooms for a baseball tournament. They advertise in several places, that they have guest laundry. There was no sign, but the laundry room door was locked. When I asked about it, I was told that it had been out of service for some time. Leaving me to have to go a few miles down the road to wash uniforms. The staff was not very friendly. The evening clerk spent most of her time sprawled out on the couch in the lobby playing on her phone and sitting on the bench outside, talking to friends. All in all, this hotel did not deliver. Ultimately, we ended up cutting our stay short and moving to another hotel, as soon as we could."
