"They’re okay, and there are a few staff that have really made me feel like they care and gone above and beyond. But overall, you have got to advocate hard for your child to get the care and/or referrals they need. So often I feel like I am given half-answers or guesses about my child’s health and wellbeing, because the doctors and nurse practitioners here don’t like to say they don’t know. But I would do much rather them be truthful and say they don’t know and then work with me find the answer, or to find the right specialist. Also it is REALLY a nightmare to try to talk to someone on the phone about a medical question here. Be prepared to wait 10-15 mins before you even speak to someone, and then get transferred and put on hold for 10-15 more minutes. If you leave a voicemail they take forever to call back, and once they didn’t even call me back at all. Repeatedly I have left my name and number and for some reason they call my husband instead. How am I supposed to have faith that you listened to my message when you’re not even calling back at the right number?? Then on top of that, it seems like the staff answering the phones after hours don’t even have access to my child’s chart? Or if they do they never check it. With the exception of a few, be prepared to be “handled” and not really get the answers or treatment you’re looking for. In-person most of the staff is sweet, but still be prepared. You have to REALLY advocate for your child if you feel there’s an issue going on or you may need a specialist. Too often all they care about is whether the child is gaining weight or not. If your kiddo is on the growth curve and hitting milestones, it can be really difficult to get them to see past that and believe you about struggles you are having. They’d rather just talk about weight gain and vaccines. Side note, If you think your baby might have a tongue tie, please do not trust a pediatrician or nurse’s opinion alone. SEE speech, pediatric dentist, , an ENT, an IBCLC, or all of the above. EDIT: The manager just called me to hear some of my concerns, which I appreciate. Many of the call woes are due to their call center, not the Lakeview campus. Particularly after hours calls. I sincerely hope that Norton Children’s Medical Group can figure out a solution so that parents are not waiting egregious amounts of time to speak to someone, and so that whoever they do speak with is an expert in children’s medicine and is familiar with the child’s chart."

"The receptionist were very friendly and took their time with me answering any questions I had. They gave me helpful information for my child and also gave out coloring sheets while we waited. The wait was not long at all. The medical staff was informative and gave all the answers we needed. We love all the Drs. At this location. This is an office where I can take my child to and feel like they actually care about my child’s health and development. I recommend this office to anyone looking for the best Dr. for their children. We are so thankful we transferred to this office."

"Wish I could give no stars for this office. I have 13 and 12 year olds that I take to them. When your child is sick they never have available appointments to see them for the same day. They don’t even try to accommodate or work something out for you and their patients. Girl in the front office was stone cold hearted when I walked in with my sick son. She had no compassion nor was she sorry that we are in desperate need to see the Dr. She just said “she can’t make time for me” to see the Dr because there’s no available appointments that day. Offered me appointment in 3 days and told me to try care clinic around the corner. I took my son to immediate care center in La Grange where they treated him within one hour. I can’t really understand that patient Dr doesn’t have time to see his sick patient. Why can’t they reschedule some well checkup visits and see sick patients that day? It’s so disappointing that when my children need their Dr the most he can’t take care of them and they just send you to a stranger that works right around the corner. Very sad!"
