"Very hard to talk to someone - they never answer the phone!"
"They are very good , we have been w them for long time . Friendly and family environment !!!"
"First off, they don't answer their phones. Every time I called it just went strait to voicemail. I think a place like this at least needs to have a way of being able to hold until the next rep can answer. Second, when they finally called me back I was only disappointed because I was told that I couldn't make an appointment for my step son because I'm not his "legal guardian" and only his biological Mother or Father can make an appointment. That's ridiculous because one, he lives with me and his Father and I make doctor's appointments for him all the time with no problem. We are all under the same medical insurance. When I tried to explain this, the lady got rude and said "Well if you would let me finish... we need paperwork of legal guardianship." In our situation, we don't have that. His Mother just allowed him to come live with us because he wanted to. All we have is birth certificate and social. I was even able to register him for school this coming year and I still had no problems. That being said, I found another very good psychology clinic that allowed me to make his appointment even after explaining the situation. They said as long as at least one of his biological parents was there, which his Dad will be, it was fine for me to make the appointment. Cook Children's Psychology Clinic really needs to re-think this policy and get a better phone system for making appointments."
"Dr Everitt is wonderful! She has worked with my special needs child for over 5 years. He has improved his prosocial behaviors and interactions with others. The office staff are also very nice and professional!"
"The nurse offered to hold my baby while I filled out paperwork once I was done and she handed my baby back to me I noticed she had a big cuton her chin. I thought my baby was crying because she didn't know the lady but no it was because the nurse cut her! The nurse just walked out of the room and didn't say anything!"
