"This one breaks my heart a little. Lets go positive before negative. There are some WONDERFUL teachers here (Ms. Patricia, Ms. Jaymie, some of the infants staff). I am grateful for the care and love they showed to our family over the years. I am not sure what happened, or how it happened to be honest. The ownership changed, and that's always a bit of a red flag. We decided to stick around and see how it went, and it went downhill quickly. Started with an incident over the summer with them driving a bus full of kids to Frisco during the heat wave with a broken air conditioner on the bus (literally have never seen my child as sweaty and exhausted as she was that day). Its just not safe, and even though I am sure some kids would have been disappointed not to go, it would have been a better alternative. Speaking on field trips- back when my step son was young (hes 13 now but went from age 3 up), they went on field trips pretty often (pumpkin patch, museums, etc). My 6 year old only got to go on a handful and those were mostly this summer, so it seemed odd that they sort of just stopped doing them for the most part for quite a while. The office is sort of chaos- there were certain forms I would fill out and then be asked to fill them out again shortly after, and then when questioned about that, one person would say "oh no you're fine we have them" and then the director emailed one day and said if they weren't submitted by Friday she would be unenrolled. It is very hard as a working parent to deal with all of that mess. We are responsible, both work, and provide all of the information on the forms so I am not sure why this was even an issue. Next on office....they INCREASED tuition, but decreased the operating hours. That was a confusing one, but allegedly the money was to go to paying the staff more. I truly hope they saw this end of the deal through. I digress. Now brings me to my newest baby who was in their care from age 12 weeks up. The biggest issue I think that leads to all of the other issues is lack of communication. They were well aware my child is dairy/soy intolerant, and yet there was still a slip up in giving her dairy because the teachers leaving didn't share that with the teacher taking over. This was our last straw as it impacted the health of my kiddo (yet again....), so we chose to go elsewhere after about 10 years with Premier academy. So sad to see it take the turn it has. The location is great and as I said, some of the staff there is truly amazing and I wish them the best."
"The turnover for teachers is outrageous. The director is great, but the assistant director Kasie, how is she still employed? We’ve gotten multiple letters over the past year saying tuition was raising to give teachers a raise but I was told by multiple teachers they decided they aren’t giving them raises because there isn’t enough students enrolled??? How is that the teachers fault? They are the only reason we stay at this school, yet they aren’t being compensated for the amazing work that they do? And now there’s a teacher that got fired for hitting a student and that wasn’t revealed to parents. We are looking elsewhere now before this school gets shut down for lack of teachers and multiple state visits. THANK YOU TEACHERS FOR LOVING OUR BABIES, sorry your owners don’t appreciate you."
"The facility is always maintained at a high standard. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. They give detailed reports on your child's activities through the day that's comprehensive so you can follow through at home. The meals offered are healthy. The structure and scheduling is thoughtfully planned out. Pick ups and drop offs are never crowded even during the busiest times. There isn't a single complaint I've had about the care received by this daycare. It is Christian based with chapel times, but for those not following that path I'd simply say, "Your children aren't being exposed to any dogmatic curriculum and at their age they don't view it with the same weight as teens and adults. Having the Christian background establishes a good strict morality for administration and staff. I'm not Christian myself, but I find no harm in the exposure my children are receiving.""
"Thank you to the teachers who care and try. There are some there. - My child did not have a good experience at this daycare. We had several issues that ultimately resulted in pulling my child from the daycare. There was a lot of turnover, I didn't agree with the discipline for toddlers, and my child struggled daily. It just wasn't for my family."
"While not perfect & dealing with some turnover (like most businesses post-COVID), I am happy to send my daughter (& soon my son) to PATC each day. My daughter’s teachers have genuinely loved her & each move up to a new class has been so bittersweet. There has been frustrations with admin, but they have hired a new Director & things seem to be improving."
