UofL Physicians – Endocrine & Diabetes Associates

"I had an appointment at this office for blood work prior to an upcoming appointment with my doctor. I was pleased to see the sign on their door before entering that MASKS WERE REQUIRED. I was appalled and did not feel safe after entering. The receptionist at the registration desk had her mask pulled down below her chin. No precautions were evident - down to being required to fill out a form with my name and birthdate and being offered a cup of re used pens to use. Then in the waiting room for the Lab I experienced a lab tech with no mask at all usher into the lab a patient who was ahead of me in to the lab. Next a very ill looking patient pushed in his wheelchair by his wife was seated across from me with his vomit bag which he was actively using. I have been avoiding all contact inside since the start of Covid. I did not feel safe in this office . It would seem that we could expect our healthcare personnel to be an example of how to wear masks and how we should behave to protect one another. I am very disappointed that a U of L office would be so lacking in safe management,"
