"Update- I understand that the waiting area has been updated since this review. Thank you! But the practitioners office still is in need of much work. The pros: They generally answer phone messages and provide timely appointments that work with your schedule. The prescribing practitioners are knowledgeable. The cons: This is an old dirty office that is in need of new carpet, new furniture and some wall art. There are large stains on the floors and it’s just seriously needing some attention both with the waiting room and the offices. The therapy department is short staffed so it’s hard to get in there as a new patient. This just isn’t a very happy place. I’m sure it’s hard to show up every day to a dirty, apparently underfunded and short staffed office but they do it anyway to provide a much needed service."
"Dr. Peters has helped guide us during one of the most challenging and darkest times with our teenage daughter who has and still is struggling with mental health and who also happens to have special needs. The attentiveness, compassion and responsiveness has been amazing. We still have a ways to go, but with his continued guidance and support it gives us the confidence and hope that we can get her life back on track. We are so thankful to have Dr. Peters on our team!"
"This office is the best! I drive my teen daughter once a week to see her doctors. They are patient, professional and knows their stuff! when it comes to treating mental health in children this is the place to be!"
"Just stopped by to find out information on this clinics services, as not a soul will return phone calls. Seems to me that they were more interested in going to lunch and gossiping than patient care. In hindsight , I guess I should have picked a better day and time. Regardless , their demeanor leaves much to be desired. Compassion is not a crime, last time I checked . I will look to others to help my son."
"I can not even get a refill on my daughters's medication. I have been trying a week . It is a medication you can not just be jerked off of, you have to be weaned off. In two days she runs out of meds. They act like they could give a crap. At this point I do not know what I am going to do. Also take your child to the appointments even if they are sick. My daughter was sick the other day and missed her last appointment. Now she can not be seen until February!!! They suggest I take her to a children's hospital that has a psych ward if I need anything in the mean time. Yeah, right that will never happen. I have worked in healthcare a long time. I can tell you that this place , as well as the Autism Center , has nothing to do with health or caring. RUN AWAY and RUN AWAY fast!!!! UPDATE: Just today the manager Barbra called this morning 11/18/16. Basically accusing me of lying , as they do not have records (so they claim) of my calling for a week to get refills. Well my phone records show different facts. It is amazing that one has to place a negative review to get medications refilled. I would like to say that if you have time to argue with people about when they requested medication for their child. That my description of your healthcare practices would be accurate. Every wasted minute of that conversation was time you could have spent helping a mentally impaired adolescent. No. I will not change my review, you can stop asking , it will remain as it is. I am also making calls to have my daughter treated elsewhere."
