"Took my mother into see the doctor with extreme back pain. I told him her heart doc and the surgeon wanted him to treat her pain till appt at end of month, he handled it great. Tried to call and let them know that combination of meds wasnt working. Well the secretary started to put her thoughts in about the meds and then said i will call joey.(didnt know she was a doc or nurse). Very unprofessional secretary. Called back 4 days later because we didn't even get a call back all for her to say he said take her to the hospital and maybe they will put her in fast track. WOW im pretty sure we have told them we have appt already. Surgeon says please treat her till i can. Fyi she has multiple bulge disc along with some other things. Also health 1st has mri and cat scan. You can not have a secretary with an opinion on your patients meds."
"Patient came in with anxiety with a lot of stressful events happening in her at that moment. Dr Joseph lowery did not even ask the patient about current life events that could have caused the anxiety or even check background history. The doctor also didn't even think about a hormone panel for the patient. He just threw medication at her to put money in his pockets and for her to get out of practice. She received 2 different types of SSRI'S and an anti histamine. After patient took those prescribed medications she became manic and extremely suicidal. She then had a relapse after being sober for almost a year and is now having to go to 6 months of inpatient rehab. You have ruined that patients life Dr Lowery. You should be ashamed and your practice should be shut down. You only care about the money, not the patients. I hope you see this and know that your destroying lives. Stop throwing medication at people just to get them out of the door."
"Joey and his team have been amazing. They are always there to assist me and answer all of my questions. They are very thorough and make sure I understand exactly what is going on with me. Joey always takes time with each of his patients and I never feel like he wants to get me in and out."
"Joey Lowrey and his team are amazing. Myself and my children go there anytime we are under the weather. The service is fast, reliable, and every employee there has always given us and educated assessment of our needs. I've been suffering with abdominal and intestinal issues my entire life. For over twenty years I've been going to Doctors to see what can be found out, and I always have the same diagnosis: IBS. After speaking with Joey he immediately said it was my gall bladder. After ordering a HIDA scan (it tests your gall bladder function) it was determined that the organ was only operating within 20% effectiveness. In short, it was diseased. There is no telling how long I've lived with this diseased organ. I had it removed and overall I've seen an incredible improvement. If you have any issues, do not hesitate to contact Joey and his team. They will treat you right!"
