The park also features a huey helicopter, an M-60A tank, navel guns, and a 60-foot bronze flagpole. In addition, there is a natural walk path along Chenoweth Creek with six concrete pads equipped with grills and tables for visitors to enjoy. Access to this area is limited to foot traffic only. "My husband is a Vet and since moving back to Kentucky we explore the state and we came across this park. We stopped here on my husband's birthday so it was a pleasant surprise. WOW, beautiful and welcoming grounds. Very clean This is one of our favorites so far. The Vetran Wall is absolutely stunning."
"As a VA nurse I have seen first hand the hurt in the eyes of our veterans and it breaks me. Places like this are vital to our country as we should celebrate the return of our heroes and acknowledge the unspeakable loss when they are unable to make it back safely. We stopped by on our KY vacation from our NC home. I sent photos to several friends and family members who have actively served our country. Thank you so much for putting so much thought, care, and passion into this park. It was seen and felt."
