"I’ve had been a patient with this clinic for 10 years. In 2022 at my appointment I was inquiring about different medications for my diabetes. I’m a type 2 and he started treatment like a type 1. Dr Balbaugh shot down anything I was asking about. Saying that I was past that point or my insurance wouldn’t over it. Well I changed drs and I am on the meds I was asking about and my insurance covers it."

"place is a joke! had an appt at 10:10 by 11:15 with no dr yet, like come on. urgent care is where went to, and we were in and out in 30 mins with a prescription! Don't waste your time there, go to the uk clinic 2 buildings down from them, way better!"

"Reading some of these review's is surprising to me. We have been going here since 2016 with my first born. My first and second born been seeing Dr. Stephenson and loved his so much before he moved away. I had my third child few months ago we all now see Dr. Balbaugh and he is absolutely wonderful to us! I’m 7 years we never had a single problem getting an appointment scheduled. Never waited more then 10 min in the lobby to be called back and front desk girls and the nurses never been rude the slightest. I always recommend everyone I know to Bluegrass peds. Nothing but great doctors and staff and a great experience overall!"

"Couple of months ago I took my granddaughter and she was diagnosed with strep, but they were very rude and trying to get her to let them do the cotton swab test because it made her gag. Finally, she gave in after the nurse threaten to go get the doctor my granddaughter was very upset and crying but they didn’t try to comfort her or anything. Today she had to go back and they did the strip test again same thing, they were rude and very impatient with her, she gagged and threw up, and it didn’t seem to bother them at all no comfort to her at all. That was the last time she’s going there the staff there does not need to be in that kind of work. I had to rate something so I gave them one star to be able to comment, but I wouldn’t even give them one star."

"I’m fed up with this place! I understand Covid has became a issue.However I feel they keep switching the rule that only one parent is allowed to go in at a time for the child’s appointment. I feel this should NOT be a rule! They should not have any say so over PARENTS GOING INTO THE APPOINTMENTS! UNPROFESSIONAL at the very least! This is not the first time they have tried to pull this! I really don’t understand how Covid has anything to do with BOTH PARENTS being a issue to observe the appointment!"
