Quality Inn & Suites Metropolis I-24

"I attempted to check in at 2:36pm witch is only 24 mins before the posted time. I understand tuning me away in January at Noon but 24 mins? Y’all are petty, and ridiculous. This is most definitely my last stay here. Say goodbye to a repeat customer. Most hotels I stay at least let me get 22 hrs. Fuking drizzling sh!ts. Moved from 2 stars down to 1 because owner responded while I was still on the property. If I was still 21 I’d march down to that desk and start turning up Karen style. Watch your mouths it’s Flagler to y’all not Flagz."

"When we arrived, my sister Kim Smith and I, it GREAT..! was greeted with an accent not from there I noticed right away. ANDREW Is his name and from JAMAKA I believe kept be busy with conversation. It was great he was Great.! I have a Pic of him next to the SUPER MAN Pic in the lobby.."

"Hotel is great, especially for how low the price is. Rooms are clean, quiet and in good order. Yea they're not perfect or the newest but what do you want for sixty bucks on a Saturday night? Only disappointment was the breakfast. They have waffles, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal and yogurt but were missing eggs, meat, and pastries and the juice was watered down. Aside from that minor letdown I would definitely stay here again."

"The room was comfortable and clean, although basic and in need of refurbishment. The lady at the front desk and the man cleaning up from breakfast were so very friendly and let our kids grab fruit loops and juice from the breakfast area even though it was a little past time because we were running late. I had a lovely chat with her about raising kids while mine ate their fruit loops, and my heart was warmed."

"I stayed at this hotel on November 26th 2023 with my husband on my way from Atlanta to Chicago. It was a conviently location and reasonably priced for 1 night. When we checked out I sae they added a $2.99 "Energy" surcharge to our bill. I told the person at the desk that I didn't see any post there about this or in our room and I know we didn't use $2.99 worth of energy as we got in late and left early morning. I asked for a manager and of course there wasn't one there. She said she couldn't remove it herself. When we got in the car I called Choice hotel priviledge customer service ( I am a member of their rewards program) and spoke to someone who confirmed that it was not in the "fine print" on their web site. She said she would message the manager about this and have him contact me. A week went by and I didn't hear from him so I called back and the buy I spoke to checked the fine print and low and behold it now mentions that they have a $2.99 energy surcharge. I am sure this was added after my complaint. He also sent a message to the manager about me wanting to hear from him and I am still waiting. its now December 13th. I can say I will never stay at this property again. Very poor customer service."
