Hampton Inn I-75 Lexington/Hamburg Area

"I've been staying here for the past three years when I go to Lexington for work. I have always said this is southern hospitality at its best and have always looked forward to staying at this Hampton inn. In the past they made you ft welcomed the entire time, unfortunately this has drastically changed. I noticed a difference on my stay in January when they never offered any of the typical snacks that every other Hampton inn offers and never once mentioned anything about me being a diamond member. My February stay I encountered the same thing, this time staff seemed to be more interested in their phones then customer service but it got worse, my key quit working so I went to the desk to get it fixed. Instead of an apology I was treated like like it was a bother to take care of me and like I was a criminal trying to pull something shady. Man at the desk has no people skills, I over heard other guests saying they were greeted and treated like they were the homeless people that mill around the area "asking them why they were there". I found out later that there was a management change around December and they failed to try to keep the great staff members they once had. Tom was a prime example of the great southern hospitality they once had, him and others were what kept me staying even though it's in a rather sketchy section. The room cleanliness has stayed good but I will pay more for customer service and feeling like I'm welcomed, That said that was probably my last stay and will start using the Hampton inn across town."

"Stayed here the night of Dec 27, 2023, and had a number of not-as-usual experiences with check-in and coffee availability in the morning. Plus the hold on my credit card was $60.02 above the actual cost, not the standard $50. First and most importantly, the room was extremely clean and comfortable. Absolutely no issues with the room. Ten days after our stay, I called and spoke with the general manager. She was very polite, very professional and listened to what I had to say and asked questions about our experience. This location is a recent purchase for Hampton Inn and there is residual staff from the previous owners / brand. My bet is it will soon be up to the fully anticipated Hampton Inn experience. Very impressed by the General Manager - confident it will improve under her leadership and I have gone from never-staying-there-again to looking forward to giving it another try. It is a perfect location, mid-trip for us with easy access."

"The staff was wonderful! They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. Staff was very thoughtful and attentive to our needs. Thanks for everything Ms Morgan! If we are ever through Lexington again we will definitely stay here! Happy Holidays to each of the staff!"

"The staff is very friendly , and the breakfast was very good. The hotel was kept clean including our room. It could use some more updates/renovations. I feel our bathroom was redone but the room not so much. My only complaint is the towels for the bathrooms were older and not as soft as they should be, and the location is a little rough. Overall a good stay!"
