"Awful nasty place avoid avoid avoid. Pictures are not only deceiving but down right scamming people. The pool is tiny, freezing cold, not filled all the way and green with a nice slime on the bottom!! The whole reason for our stay is because my 2 children wanted a pool to swim in just for the night Pictures made this place look awesome compared to what we got which was a dirty alge filled swamp instead. In the room not much better we found socks left from previous guest that the cleaning crew missed. Asked for a refund and still have not been given one. I didn't even stay we checked in and left 2 hours after being there. Too scared of being exposed to bugs and whatever was growing in that pool."

"Just got off the highway and got a reasonably priced room. Room itself was just fine. While outside enjoying the fresh air we met a woman with a dog that just spent her last one hundred dollars on a room. She was a local who had been displaced by a tornado that came thru in July. My friend wanted to pay for her next nights room so we went to front desk to pay and the young man made up some story and wouldn’t let her pay for the room. We decided we would do it in the morning. Older woman managing desk said that she wouldn’t allow it either. Why? We asked if she trashed the room and the answer was no. She just said she was hard to get out at checkout time. So what! What’s the difference if she was hard to get out on Monday instead of Sunday. It’s the hospitality business deal with it. So the lady was a little extra but she was sweet as pie. Very uncharitable to a human being down on her luck! My friend was trying to do a good deed and the hotel would have booked a room on a Sunday night. Shame on you Super 8 in Shepardsville Kentucky. I will think twice about Super 8 on my next trip and it was certainly unchristian of those who are supposedly Christian. Do better people, we are all in this together"

"I found my stay at this budget-friendly hotel to be really pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful, there was a modest international breakfast in the morning, and our room was very clean and comfortable. There were also lots of restaurants nearby."

"I called the hotel ahead of time and I got great, guest services over the phone from the reception desk associate He got me a great rate showed up & was checked in within 3 minutes at most. Got to the room. Absolutely large beautiful room. King size bed. Nice and clean. The hotel has an indoor pool that I'm looking forward to using tomorrow and they also have smoking rooms available The hotel has a very nice lobby. An elevator meeting rooms available handicap parking handicap access to the hotel Overall a very, very nice place to spend a couple days"

"You don't have to remind me not to stay there again! As soon as you walk in the lobby, it smells old. We couldn't cancel as our time to cancel was up and we would have got charged anyway, so we had to stay. The room was very disappointing. Mostly clean, update carpet. But the smell was bad! It is definitely an old place. We went by reviews and not sure why some were good. The paint in the halls was coming off so bad. Nope not again. Also be very careful The bathtub is slick! I thought I was going to fall a couple of times."
