"It's a very unique tree. Burls all over. Worth a visit if you're already in Louisville but don't come from very far away and expect too much."
"This is an Osage Orange Tree, nothing more, nothing less. It would be more enchanting if it wasn't surrounded by sewage smell. No tickets needed."
"Stopped by to see the Witches' tree. Sadly we did not see any of the decorations on the tree from other people. Must be an off season. We will come back in the spring and see her when her leaves are back and it's warmer. A fun story attached to the tree and looks mystifying. I was hoping it was the most decorated tree in the area."
"Creepy but cool. I don't know really anything about this tree but it is real and it's easy to get too. I enjoyed finding it. It is decorated with a lot of symbols. According to local lore, in the late 19th century, this tree was the gathering place for a coven of witches. There they performed their ceremonies and generally didn’t create too much of a nuisance. Until, that is, a city planning committee decided to remove the tree ahead of the annual May Day celebration. After visiting the tree on a mildly warm day, me and my wife got back into the car and when I started it the heater was running full blast. The air and heat were off when we stopped at the tree. The car is a 2023 and I have never had any problems with it. So you decide what could of made the heat turn on by itself."
