"We had a nice "private" tour of the house, (we were the only two visitors at the time). The interior was reconstructed to reflect the time George Rogers Clark lived there, and the finishes were very interesting."

"On a whim I stopped by, I missed the last house tour (which does have a cost but the rest is free) so I enjoyed the gift shop, museum, out buildings, gardens, and grounds. They have a self guided tour you can take but calling a phone number so look for the little red signs."

Bravo to the hard work the ladies and gentlemen have put into uncovering the names of those enslaved on this property. Bravo to the men and women that guide and narrate the tour, and stay to answer questions following the conclusion. Your passion aids to make the community knowledgeable about our past. Although the information was difficult to digest, it was necessary. We highly recommend this deep dive into African American history!"
