"Walked my dog thur there"
"Overall is a clean Park some of the children that go up there can be kind of mean and nasty especially to older authority but other than that it is a nice park for families and children to attend possibly have birthday parties at or family reunions etc they have the park with the slides and the swings etc also having the sprinkler for children instead of swimming they also have the football field soccer field etc there's also picnic tables a gazebo to sit under there's a huge parking lot so there's plenty of parking space all the trees for plenty of shade if you need it attract to walk around for people who like to walk or run but it is a very nice quiet clean Park not to mention it has a drinking fountain you can fill up a water bottle just take a quick drink also pets can have a drink at the bottom also pretty neat thing to use when you are in need of water whether it's for you your animal or to take it to go"
"Only 1 very small sheltered picnic table seating, with 2 old picnic tables. No facilities, and the kids play area is small but updated and can accommodate a pretty good group at once."
"Wasnt to bad if only people would clean up after themselves. Son had fun and met a friend so in my eyes it was all worth it. Glad to live close to the park and we can walk there"
"Great walking tracks for the dogs. I have 2 little dogs. Very quiet, but of course it's early afternoon. It's very convenient for me, I live .2 miles away. Has small play area with swing set, slide, and climbing area. Benches are conveniently located in view of the playground. The park also has a shelter area with picnic tables which would be great for family picnics. They have also included public grills near the shelter for easy access. Note: Would make sure to bring aluminum foil for food safety. There is a few basketball courts for the older kids, but a couple times I was there it was hard to get into a game because it was packed and it was made clear that the court was taken and no outsiders were invited. Note: I'm not trying to be critical, I am just giving a honest review of how I see the park. I think could be more controlled, however I'm not sure how that would be handed. The walking track is .25 mile around once. They have just planted a lot of trees, as it seems they are trying to increase the green factor. Look, for a small neighborhood park its nice, it has always been clean, and it's convenient for South Enders. One downfall is no public restrooms. It is unusual because of the shelter to not have them, however a water fountain is available. I also have noticed a large sprinkler area during the summer months which seemed to be very well APPRECIATED on a 90+ day in the humidity of Louisville. So that's it, you know Louisville has such a great park system I think it can be easy to overlook the small neighborhood parks that are all over our neighborhoods. If you live in the South End its a nice place to walk the dogs, let the kids run off some energy, or just sit on a bench and watch the world go by. REMEMBER PLEASE KEEP OUR PARK CLEAN. DON'T LITTER! REMOVE ALL THOSE GIFTS OUR BELOVED CANINE FRIENDS LEAVE. ( No Waste Removal Bags Are Provided As They Are At Most Louisville Parks. THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THE PARK BEAUTIFUL... Looks like they have planted a ton of trees. That's a great thing. Please keep the park clean. We found this on our walk. Sad because there are trash receptacles all through the park."
