"This used to be one of my "go to" lanes. Tonight, a ball return wigged out and beat the hell out of two of my balls. One of them got a large chip, which they agreed to fix. The other, the GM tried to pin as "previous damage". I had recently had my bad refinished, and it was looking great. After the return was borked, I got it back covered in burns. He more or less called me a liar and refused to refinish the ball. There are better lanes in town with better deals and better technology (ken bowl) . I won't be returning. Too expensive on your equipment."
"My family has had a tradition of bowling on Christmas Eve since the 1980s. We’ve bounced around to different alleys over the years, depending on who was open, and have been bowling at Executive Strike & Spare for the last several years. Every year I call to confirm the hours in case something has changed. When I called this morning I was told they were planning to be open until 5:00 pm “depending on business.” We arrived around 2:40, and noticed that they also had signs posted saying they’d be open until 5:00. We paid for two games, and when we were on the seventh frame of our second game, an employee came on the loudspeaker and announced that they were closing. And then immediately turned off everyone’s games. (There were several other groups bowling as well.) It was 3:40. She wouldn’t let us finish and also wouldn’t give us a refund for the game we paid for and didn’t get to complete. I know that in the grand scheme of things this doesn’t really matter, but how are you going to take our money and then not provide the service you sold us or offer us a refund? That’s just really bad customer service. We’ll bowl elsewhere next year."
"Paid 20 a person (5 people)for shoes and a lane from 10pm till 1am. Have to pay for the music on a new school juke box, and they do not dim the lights. Only the pins glowed, not even the balls. But yet they call it a glow bowl with music and fun, create your own music and pretend things actually glow, will not venture there again unless they change those two things around like it advertised. The pictures do not have a flash it's that bright in there"
"We had a wonderful time bowling. It was a very clean and friendly environment, prices weren't too bad for being in Louisville. Pretty decent selection of bowling balls, different size holes and different weights. I only noticed a few balls that looked like they need to be replaced. Shoes ran a little big in sizes which is always good. There is a small restaurant and Bar area. They have a party room with a handful of arcades so you can plan a birthday party. And for the professional bowlers there was a shop where you can purchase gloves, bags, balls Etc We were playing build a monster which I have never played before it was fun for all of us. And when I say all I mean three adults and two children. You only got to bowl once each turn though instead of two times like you would in a traditional game. Here are the reasons I give four stars instead of five. Easily fixable issues, please take this as constructive criticism. First there was no way to switch to the traditional scoreboard once you were in the monsters menu. It was fun the first few games and then we wanted to switch back and forth but there wasn't an option. I'm sure we could have went to the front desk every time and asked but shouldn't really have to considering we were paying by the hour it burns up your time waiting in line. Second there was also no bumpers for the kids. I searched around in the menu and again I'm sure you could have went to the front desk and burnt up some of your time asking for it. I have never been to a bowling alley where it wasn't available in the menu to set for each individual child. The biggest complaint would be how loud the intercom system was. There were speakers on the ceiling pointed down towards us at an angle. Every time anyone would talk into the intercom system it was extremely loud to the point where the kids were covering their ears. Yes that loud. And it's not like it only happened occasionally they were doing drawings and other stuff and they were constantly on the intercom every 5 minutes or so. It became annoying rather quickly especially when you're waiting for the children to uncover their ears to bowl."
